Boys Noize

Alexander Ridha — known as Boys Noize — was born in 1982 in Hamburg to German-Iraqi parents and made his DJ debut at age 15, beginning with house and techno before developing the aggressive, electro-inflected sound that made him one of Berlin's most recognizable exports in the mid-2000s. In 2005 he founded Boysnoize Records — originally established to release his own music with full creative control — which grew into a multidirectional label releasing electronic music across techno, house, and experimental genres, and in 2025 he launched Ones and Zeros as a conceptual companion imprint. His production resume spans collaborations with A$AP Rocky, Tommy Cash, Frank Ocean, and Nine Inch Nails, and in 2026 he formed Nine Inch Noize with Nine Inch Nails as a supergroup for Coachella 2026, an event described as an extension of the Peel It Back Tour's third act. His earlier production alias Kid Alex gave him early bookings supporting Felix Da Housecat and DJ Hell before transitioning to the Boys Noize identity.
