About Hakkasan

Hakkasan at MGM Grand is an immersive 80,000 square foot, five-level entertainment complex that combines Las Vegas's most awarded Cantonese restaurant with a world-class nightclub experience. Opened in 2013, the venue's layout across five floors creates completely distinct atmospheres: Levels 1 and 2 house the award-winning Cantonese restaurant and private dining rooms; Level 3 features the Ling Ling Lounge and Ling Ling Room — a 10,000+ square foot hip-hop lounge with its own dance floor and DJ; and the upper levels contain the sweeping main nightclub room with mezzanine, Pavilion, and back areas where Steve Aoki and Loud Luxury hold 2026 residencies alongside Above & Beyond, Acraze, Charlotte de Witte, Laidback Luke, Black Coffee, and Vintage Culture. The main room's production rivals a music festival — multi-story LED installations surround a massive stage and dance floor that can accommodate thousands. With 3,800-person capacity and a Wednesday through Saturday schedule, Hakkasan is one of the highest-volume clubs in Las Vegas and one of the most recognized nightclub brands in the world. The restaurant reservations often sell out on weekend nights and fill with pre-party diners before the club opens. The venue's bottle service sections span multiple price tiers: lower floor tables facing the main stage command $1,500–$3,000 minimum spend for direct sightlines to the DJ booth, while Pavilion and back-area tables start at $750–$1,500 for groups who want the full production experience without front-of-stage pricing. Each floor has its own bar, so guests can order at any level without crossing the venue. The restaurant-to-club arc is a signature Hakkasan experience: dinner in the downstairs Cantonese dining room, then ascending floor by floor as the night deepens — experiencing the same building transform from white-tablecloth silence to 3,000-person music festival is something no other venue in Las Vegas can replicate. In 2026, Hakkasan has expanded its programming to embrace hip-hop and R&B alongside its EDM roots, emerging as the Strip's most genre-flexible mega-club. R&Bae Wednesdays — anchored by resident DJ Franzen, who previously held a lengthy residency at Drai's before Drai's relocated to its original basement location in late 2025 — deliver a weekly celebration of classic R&B spanning Jodeci, Usher, and Mariah Carey alongside contemporary artists, making Wednesday the definitive midweek R&B night on the Strip. Thursday nights rotate TELYKAST and other performers through the Ling Ling Lounge, while Friday and Saturday headliner bookings mix EDM talent with hip-hop acts including Tyga, Fabolous, and BigXThaPlug — a dual-identity programming calendar that no other Las Vegas mega-club replicates at this scale.

What to Expect at Hakkasan

The Vibe

Five-level superclub at MGM Grand spanning 80,000 sq ft — one of the largest multi-level nightclub footprints in the world. Hip-hop at the Ling Ling Lounge on Level 3, festival-grade EDM in the main room on upper levels with 3,800-person capacity. Walking distance (0.3 miles) from T-Mobile Arena, making Hakkasan the default post-VGK game celebration venue — on Golden Knights home game nights, the crowd surges after final whistle with an energy unlike any standard club night. The main dance floor holds 2,500+ with a multi-story LED installation and concert-grade sound system. The five floors allow groups to split between genres without splitting entirely — EDM fans upstairs, hip-hop fans at Ling Ling, and the restaurant on lower floors for dinner before the night deepens.

Guest List Rules

Women free all night. Men free before 12:30 AM with even or better female-to-male ratio. Sign up by 8:00 PM on the evening of your visit — list closes at that time. Five-level venue: guest list check-in is on the main level (Level 1, near the Hakkasan restaurant entrance inside MGM Grand), not at the upstairs nightclub level — do not go directly to the club floor. Groups of men capped at 4 per registration; groups with more men than women typically pay cover. On Vegas Golden Knights home game nights at T-Mobile Arena (0.3 miles from MGM Grand), allow 10-15 min post-game for the arena crowd to clear before attempting entry — the post-VGK rush peaks 15-30 min after final whistle and subsides quickly. Guest list covers both rooms: Ling Ling Lounge (hip-hop, Level 3) and main nightclub (EDM, upper levels).

Smart casual minimum..

Does the Hakkasan cover charge change on holidays or special events?

New Year's Eve, Halloween, Valentine's Day, Memorial Day weekend, EDC Week (May), and major convention weeks like CES and SEMA all command premium door prices — sometimes two to three times the standard rate, occasionally exceeding $100 per person. The most reliable way to avoid elevated holiday cover charges is the NoCoverVegas guest list, which provides free entry regardless of the night or event. What Sets It Apart

What Makes Hakkasan Unique

Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand spans 80,000 square feet across five floors — the largest single nightclub footprint in the world — and each level operates on a completely different atmosphere model during peak hours. The main room on level 1 runs the highest-production EDM experience in Las Vegas: a full concert-grade stage build that hosts Steve Aoki, Above & Beyond, Charlotte de Witte, and 2026 residents at their technical maximums, with a sound system engineered to fill the full room without compression artifacts on the back walls. Level 2 is the Ling Ling Room, operating as a Chinese restaurant and lounge by day that transitions to an intimate cocktail experience at night — a counterpoint to the main room's intensity that allows groups to split between experiences without leaving the venue. The mezzanine level provides elevated sightlines across the main room without direct floor access, creating a viewing tier for groups who want visual immersion without peak-crowd density. Hakkasan's position inside MGM Grand — the Strip's largest casino — gives it hotel infrastructure that standalone venues lack: multiple pre-club dining options within a five-minute walk, rideshare integration into the resort's central drive, and a central Strip position equidistant from every major hotel on Las Vegas Blvd. The Hakkasan Group's operation of the Ling Ling Restaurant and the nightclub in the same building creates a unified evening pipeline: groups who book dinner-and-club packages receive coordinated service staff awareness throughout the night, with a seamless restaurant-to-main-room transition that no other Strip nightclub offers at the same quality tier. R&Bae Wednesdays at Hakkasan — anchored by resident DJ Franzen — deliver a weekly celebration of R&B and hip-hop that draws a fundamentally different crowd than the EDM headliner weekends: a midweek energy that feels more social and less festival-floor than Friday-Saturday, creating the best midweek group night option for groups who want the Hakkasan production infrastructure in a hip-hop programming environment rather than an EDM one.

Group Experiences

Planning a Group Night at Hakkasan

Hakkasan's five-floor architecture creates a strategic advantage for groups that smaller, single-floor venues cannot replicate: at any point during the night, a group of 8 to 20 people can divide by musical preference without separating entirely from each other. The main room on the lower levels delivers the full concert-grade EDM production — Steve Aoki, Above & Beyond, and Charlotte de Witte performing at festival-stage volume in a room designed for maximum floor density. The Ling Ling Lounge on the upper level operates simultaneously as a hip-hop and R&B room with its own DJ and dance floor, a completely different atmosphere at lower decibel levels where conversation is viable. Groups who want a single venue that accommodates the EDM fans and the hip-hop fans simultaneously — without anyone having to concede their music preference or split into two Ubers to different destinations — find Hakkasan to be the only Las Vegas mega-club that genuinely solves this problem at scale. The mezzanine provides a third option: elevated viewing sightlines above the main floor where the DJ performance is fully visible but the crowd density is significantly lower, a location that works for groups who want to see the production without being in the floor-level press.

The Hakkasan restaurant creates a group planning opportunity that no other Las Vegas nightclub with comparable production quality offers at the same address. The award-winning Cantonese restaurant on the lower floors operates dinner service from early evening through late night, meaning a group can book a dinner reservation, eat at Hakkasan, and walk upstairs to the nightclub after finishing their meal — no rideshare, no transfer logistics, no coordination required between the dinner venue and the club. The restaurant-to-main-room pipeline is a distinct Hakkasan group experience: the group arrives together for dinner, moves through the building together as the evening deepens, and the nightclub portion of the night begins without the transition friction that marks most Las Vegas group evenings. Birthday groups who want to combine a formal dinner with a nightclub celebration, corporate groups who need to begin the evening with a meal before the entertainment, and bachelorette parties who want the photo opportunity of a Michelin-quality dining setting before the dancing — all of these group scenarios are handled in a single building at Hakkasan.

For groups who attend on R&Bae Wednesdays, Hakkasan delivers an experience that differs meaningfully from the weekend EDM programming. DJ Franzen's R&B residency programs Jodeci, Usher, Mariah Carey, and contemporary R&B across a midweek calendar that draws a more socially oriented crowd — less festival-floor energy, more space to move, and a music selection that works specifically well for mixed-gender groups who find common ground in classic and contemporary R&B rather than EDM. Wednesday nights at Hakkasan are also operationally easier for groups: shorter guest list lines, lower minimum spends on bottle service tables, and a crowd that has not built to Saturday-level density. Groups celebrating birthdays on a weekday, bachelor parties arriving midweek, and corporate groups who want to avoid weekend pricing all find R&Bae Wednesday to be the optimal Hakkasan timing.

The MGM Grand casino floor surrounding Hakkasan provides groups with pre-club and post-club options that centralize the entire evening within walking distance of the nightclub entrance. Multiple restaurants, bars, and gaming areas within MGM Grand are accessible without a street crossing, allowing a group to begin the evening with a casino bar round, move to the Hakkasan restaurant for dinner, ascend to the nightclub for the main event, and return to the casino floor after last call for an extended evening without anyone needing to coordinate transportation at any point. Groups staying at MGM Grand have a three-minute walk from their hotel room to the Hakkasan entrance — the proximity eliminates the logistical overhead of a group hotel-to-venue transit that affects nearly every other Strip nightclub visit.

Insider Tips

Hakkasan Insider Tips

  • 1

Guest list check-in is at the restaurant-level entrance (Level 1) inside MGM Grand — not at the upstairs nightclub floors. Most first-timers head directly toward the upper floors and end up in the wrong queue. Enter MGM Grand from the main Las Vegas Blvd porte-cochere, follow the casino floor toward the Hakkasan restaurant signage, and check in there before ascending to the club.

  • 2

Your single guest list entry covers both the main nightclub (upper levels, EDM) and the Ling Ling Lounge (Level 3, hip-hop). Groups that stay in one room all night miss the reason Hakkasan is worth the five-floor format — use both. The Ling Ling Lounge is the right escape when the main room peaks above comfortable crowd density, typically after 12:30 AM.

  • 3

R&Bae Wednesdays are the most accessible Hakkasan night for mixed or male-heavy groups: DJ Franzen's R&B residency draws a different crowd than weekend EDM nights, ratio enforcement is more relaxed, and bottle service minimums run $400–$500 below Friday–Saturday peak pricing. If your group has flexibility on day, Wednesday is the correct call.

  • 4

On Vegas Golden Knights home game nights at T-Mobile Arena (0.3 miles from MGM Grand), plan your arrival before the game ends or at least 45 minutes after — the post-game rush peaks 15–30 minutes after final whistle and creates a temporary surge at the Hakkasan entrance. The surge subsides within 30–40 minutes. Arriving during that window means the longest possible GA wait; arriving before it or well after it is smooth.

  • 5

The Hakkasan restaurant (Levels 1–2) accepts reservations separately from the nightclub. Groups who book dinner at the restaurant starting at 9 PM and transition upstairs at 11 PM execute the most polished Hakkasan evening — a single building, no transfers, no rideshare logistics. Book the restaurant reservation through OpenTable 2–3 weeks ahead on peak weekends.

  • 6

For groups of more than 4 men, Hakkasan caps male guest list submissions at 4 men per registration. If your group is 6 men and 6 women, split into two registrations of 3+3 rather than one submission of 6+6. One large mixed submission processes the same as two smaller ones, but the 4-man cap is enforced per registration — not per evening — at the check-in desk.

Celebrity & VIP Culture

Why HakkasanAttracts Entertainment Industry & Sports VIPs

Tiësto's Hakkasan residency from 2014 through 2018 stands as one of the most commercially significant DJ contracts in Las Vegas nightlife history. Over four consecutive seasons, Tiësto anchored Hakkasan's identity as the Strip's defining big-room EDM venue — his appearances on EDC Weekend, New Year's Eve, and high-value boxing Saturdays set the template for how a multi-year residency compounds a venue's booking reputation. When Tiësto moved his residency to OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars Palace in 2026 to open the new Tao Group property, his departure did not diminish Hakkasan's programming power — it confirmed that Hakkasan had produced the market conditions where top-tier talent could graduate from one flagship Las Vegas venue into another.

The residency history that Tiësto anchored includes a roster of EDM's most significant figures: Martin Garrix, who holds one of the highest Spotify monthly listener counts in dance music, brought his progressive-big-room sound to Hakkasan across EDC Weekend bookings where 3,800-person capacity hit ceilings. DJ Snake's Hakkasan appearances during his 'Lean On' commercial peak positioned the venue as the crossover destination for artists whose club-to-mainstream arc was accelerating. Afrojack, whose collaboration output spans crossover pop and festival-scale EDM, held multiple appearances during boxing weekends — an MGM Grand-specific programming pattern where major fight cards at T-Mobile Arena and MGM Grand Garden Arena generate the highest-spend audience in Las Vegas nightlife. Kaskade's progressive house catalog — built across a decade of headliner slots at Hakkasan before his Wynn Nightlife and festival-circuit turns — helped define Hakkasan's reputation for hosting artists at the technical apex of their production systems.

The MGM Grand partnership dynamic gives Hakkasan a structural advantage during boxing weekends that competing venues located at non-fight-property casinos cannot replicate. When fight cards are hosted at MGM Grand Garden Arena, the post-fight audience — which includes the highest concentration of entertainment industry contacts, celebrity guests, and media in Las Vegas nightlife's annual calendar — exits directly into the same casino complex that houses Hakkasan. The corporate event infrastructure for boxing-adjacent programming sits at Hakkasan's upper-level Pavilion areas, where groups of 20 to 50 are coordinated through dedicated host management rather than public guest list lines.

At 80,000 square feet across five levels, Hakkasan's scale creates a privacy condition that smaller venues cannot offer: celebrity-level guests can occupy table positions in the Pavilion or back areas of the main room with 3,800 people on the floor without the entire room's social attention orienting toward them simultaneously. Boutique venues at 400 to 1,200-person capacity have no equivalent; at Hakkasan, a notable presence on the floor is effectively distributed noise.

How It Compares

Hakkasan vs Other Las Vegas Nightclubs

Hakkasan vs OMNIA

Hakkasan at MGM Grand and OMNIA at Caesars Palace are the two venues most directly compared by visitors researching large-footprint EDM clubs on the Las Vegas Strip. The distinction is architectural and organizational before it is musical. Hakkasan's 80,000 square feet across five levels creates simultaneous genre separation that OMNIA's configuration does not deliver — the Ling Ling Lounge hip-hop floor operates at the same time as the main EDM room, a split-room format that OMNIA's rooftop terrace only partially approximates. OMNIA's answer is the kinetic chandelier — the 22-motor hydraulic sculpture that descends toward 3,500 people on the main room floor, a production spectacle Hakkasan's multi-floor architecture cannot replicate in a single room. OMNIA operates within Caesars Entertainment's property system; Hakkasan sits inside MGM Grand, whose fight-card calendar at the adjacent arena generates the most valuable single-night audiences in Las Vegas nightlife. For EDM purists who want the most floor space and the most genre flexibility within a single building, Hakkasan. For the kinetic chandelier as the defining visual moment of a Las Vegas nightclub night, OMNIA.

Hakkasan vs XS Nightclub

XS at Wynn Encore and Hakkasan at MGM Grand define the Wynn-versus-MGM rivalry in Las Vegas nightlife at its sharpest contrast. XS at 40,000 square feet operates on a scale philosophy that prioritizes quality control over volume — the Wynn property premium is built into XS's bottle service minimums, its ambient crowd composition, and the Encore private corridor that A-list guests use to bypass the casino floor entirely. Hakkasan's scale advantage — five simultaneous environments including the Ling Ling Lounge hip-hop floor — means a group can cover two genre preferences within a single building, a format XS's indoor-outdoor two-space configuration does not replicate as completely. XS's outdoor pool patio with 30 cabanas is a venue-type category Hakkasan's enclosed format cannot match. The comparison resolves on priorities: XS for Wynn-brand luxury, outdoor pool adjacency, and controlled premium experience; Hakkasan for maximum floor scale, simultaneous genre separation, and MGM Grand boxing-weekend energy.

Hakkasan vs Marquee

Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan and Hakkasan at MGM Grand occupy the same production tier — both run festival-level headliners and high-capacity formats — but program fundamentally different music DNA. Marquee's three-room structure orients its calendar toward mainstream EDM-pop crossover and open-format programming, drawing from the pop-crossover model where commercial accessibility shapes the booking slate. Hakkasan's programming, built on a decade of big-room EDM from Tiësto, Afrojack, and DJ Snake, maintains a higher ratio of pure EDM programming to hip-hop crossover, and the MGM Grand boxing-weekend calendar gives Hakkasan's peak nights a hip-hop and celebrity-heavy programming layer that Marquee's Cosmopolitan-adjacent audience does not match on the same nights. Marquee's center-Strip position at The Cosmopolitan gives it geographic accessibility from ARIA, Bellagio, and Park-area hotels that Hakkasan's south-casino corridor position approximates but does not equal. Groups who prioritize center-Strip location and pop-open-format programming choose Marquee; groups who prioritize pure big-room EDM scale and MGM Grand property access choose Hakkasan.

Birthday & Group Events

Birthday Celebrations at Hakkasan

Hakkasan at MGM Grand provides birthday celebrations with two structural advantages that single-room nightclubs cannot replicate: the five-floor architecture lets a birthday group split across two distinct music environments within the same building — the EDM main room and the Ling Ling Lounge hip-hop floor — simultaneously, and the award-winning Cantonese restaurant on the lower levels folds a birthday dinner into the same address rather than requiring a separate venue reservation.

Birthday groups with mixed music preferences — half on the EDM floor, half in the hip-hop lounge — execute that split without a rideshare, without a second cover charge, and without separating for more than an elevator ride. The single guest list entry covers both floors. For groups who want to begin with dinner, a Hakkasan restaurant reservation starting at 9 PM allows the group to eat together and ascend to the nightclub after finishing — a pipeline that requires no travel and no transition logistics. The restaurant books out 2–3 weeks ahead on peak weekend nights.

For birthday bottle service, the Ling Ling Lounge is the most accessible entry point: starting minimums run below the main room, hip-hop programming works for a wider demographic than EDM headliner nights, and the 10,000+ square foot floor accommodates mid-size birthday groups comfortably. Main room tables are appropriate for groups primarily targeting the EDM production experience and wanting prime sightlines to the DJ booth. R&Bae Wednesdays (DJ Franzen) are the optimal birthday timing for groups that want the full Hakkasan infrastructure at lower minimums, a more socially oriented crowd than Saturday peak, and R&B music that works well for mixed-gender birthday parties.

Love Hakkasan at night? Hit Palm Tree Beach Club during the day for the full Vegas experience at the same resort. Guest list available for both venues through NoCoverVegas.

Palm Tree Beach Club

MGM GrandMarch – September 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Wed–Sun, seasonal)

Palm Tree Beach Club opened in May 2025 as the MGM Grand's reimagined successor to Wet Republic — one of the most historically significant pool party spaces in Las Vegas Strip history — and represents one of the most distinctive venue launches in Strip nightlife. The concept was co-developed by Kygo, the Norwegian DJ and producer, whose Palm Tree Crew lifestyle brand provided the creative direction for the venue's design aesthetic and booking philosophy. This artist-forward development model — where a globally recognized DJ co-creates the venue concept rather than simply booking a residency — is unique on the Strip and explains why Palm Tree has a more coherent visual and musical identity than other dayclubs built on the same operator-first model. The tropical-minimalist design uses pink and green pastels, lush plantings throughout the deck, and a Palm Springs-influenced aesthetic that stands in deliberate contrast to the louder visual identity of other Strip mega-dayclubs. At nearly 60,000 square feet, Palm Tree ranks among the three largest pool party venues in Las Vegas and features a saltwater main pool — one of only a few dayclubs on the Strip using saltwater filtration — that leaves the water noticeably cleaner on skin and eyes than the chlorine-heavy alternatives at neighboring venues. The 2026 programming calendar features Tiësto, Fisher, DJ Pauly D, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, and Louis the Child, with Kygo holding periodic headline appearances that draw melodic house and pop fans who would not typically attend a Las Vegas dayclub, broadening the venue's demographic reach beyond the EDM-core audience. Palm Tree operates Wednesday through Sunday — one additional day compared to most Strip dayclubs — making it the best full-scale option for midweek groups attending conventions at the LVCC, Aria, Mandalay Bay, or T-Mobile Arena. Wednesday sessions run as 'Drift Wednesdays,' a recurring Tao Group programming series featuring rotating local and regional DJs — the only full-scale Strip dayclub event available on Wednesdays in 2026. The MGM Grand campus location places Palm Tree within walking distance of T-Mobile Arena, Park MGM, New York-New York, and ARIA — giving it the most geographically central position of any major dayclub on the Las Vegas Strip. The 2026 EDC Week lineup (May 14–17) anchors the season's opening peak: Above & Beyond headlines Thursday, Zedd headlines Friday, Alesso headlines Saturday, and Chris Lake closes Sunday — four headliner-quality bookings across four consecutive days, the densest single-week programming of any Strip dayclub. Chris Lake holds additional 2026 residency dates at Palm Tree on June 13, July 18, and August 29, while Fisher is confirmed for a July 4th pool party, establishing Palm Tree as the primary Las Vegas home for tech-house and melodic house fans during the 2026 summer season.

Hakkasan — FAQ

What nights is Hakkasan open?

Hakkasan is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10:30 PM to 4 AM. Wednesday nights feature R&Bae with DJ Franzen (R&B and hip-hop residency through September 2026). Thursday nights run programming through the Ling Ling Lounge. Friday and Saturday feature main room headliner programming with EDM and hip-hop artists.

How much is cover at Hakkasan?

Cover at Hakkasan typically runs $40–$75 depending on the night and headliner. Women are free all night, men are free before 12:30 AM on the NoCoverVegas guest list with an even female-to-male ratio. Weekend headliner nights command the highest door prices.

Where is the guest list check-in at Hakkasan?

Guest list check-in is at the restaurant-level entrance (Level 1) inside MGM Grand — not at the upstairs nightclub floors. Enter MGM Grand from the main Las Vegas Blvd porte-cochere, follow casino floor signage toward the Hakkasan restaurant, and check in there before ascending to the club. Most first-timers head directly to the upper floors and end up in the wrong queue.

What is the age limit at Hakkasan?

Hakkasan is strictly 21+ with valid government-issued photo ID required at all entrances. The policy is enforced at every entrance — no exceptions for hotel guests or VIP reservations.

What music does Hakkasan play?

Hakkasan programs two distinct rooms simultaneously. The main room runs EDM and progressive house with festival-level headliners (Steve Aoki, Above & Beyond, Charlotte de Witte). The Ling Ling Lounge (Level 3) runs hip-hop and R&B. R&Bae Wednesdays feature DJ Franzen playing classic R&B — Jodeci, Usher, Mariah Carey — and contemporary hip-hop in a distinctly different atmosphere from the weekend EDM nights.

Is bottle service worth it at Hakkasan?

Bottle service at Hakkasan starts at $750 for Ling Ling Lounge tables and $1,500 for main room tables on regular nights (up to $2,500–$3,000 for prime stage tables on peak Saturdays). Groups of 6–8 find the Ling Ling Lounge starting minimum to be the best value: dedicated seating on the hip-hop floor, a personal host, and guaranteed entry without the guest list gender ratio requirement.

What do I say when I arrive at the Hakkasan guest list check-in?

Hakkasan's guest list check-in is at Level 1 — the restaurant-level entrance inside MGM Grand on the casino floor — not at the upper nightclub entrances on Levels 3 through 6. Walk through the MGM Grand casino to the Hakkasan Level 1 entry and tell the host staff: 'I'm on the NoCoverVegas guest list — [your name], party of [X].' They verify your name, confirm the female-to-male ratio, and direct you by escalator or elevator to the nightclub floors. A valid 21+ photo ID is required; your NoCoverVegas text confirmation is a helpful reference but not required if your name appears in the system. On Friday and Saturday headliner nights — Steve Aoki, Above & Beyond, Charlotte de Witte dates — the Level 1 check-in desk can develop a queue by 11:30 PM; arriving by 11:00 PM avoids that wait and gives men the widest window before the 12:30 AM entry cutoff. Hakkasan's guest list sign-up deadline is 8:00 PM every operating night — earlier than most Strip clubs. Submit through NoCoverVegas before dinner on the day of your visit, not at 9 or 10 PM.

Does the Hakkasan guest list affect bottle service minimums?

The Hakkasan guest list and bottle service reservations are separate systems. Guest list status covers your entry: women free all night, men free before 12:30 AM with an equal or better female-to-male ratio. Bottle service minimums are determined by floor and position — Ling Ling Lounge tables on Level 3 start at $750, main room tables start at $1,500 on regular nights and up to $3,000 for prime stage positions on peak Saturday headliner nights. Being on the guest list does not reduce these minimums or provide a bar discount. Groups with bottle service reservations enter through a dedicated host-coordinated arrival point rather than the Level 1 guest list check-in, meaning the two systems direct guests through different entry channels rather than serving the same group simultaneously. Groups of six or more weighing guest list versus bottle service often find the Ling Ling Lounge tier provides the most practical per-person value at Hakkasan: $750 across six guests is $125 per person — below the effective per-person cost at many comparable large-format nightclubs once cover, drinks, and wait time are factored in.

What is the ideal arrival time at Hakkasan on different nights of the week?

Arrival timing at Hakkasan varies by night. R&Bae Wednesdays: doors open at 10:00 PM — arrive between 10:00 PM and 11:30 PM. The crowd builds gradually, the Ling Ling Lounge is accessible from the moment it opens, and same-day guest list registration is viable as long as you submit before 8:00 PM. Thursdays: 10:30 PM to midnight, with the Ling Ling Lounge as the primary programming focus. Fridays: arrive by 11:00 PM to clear the Level 1 check-in before the 12:30 AM men's entry cutoff — the main floor builds quickly after 11:30 PM on headliner dates. Saturdays (peak nights): arrive by 10:30 PM on confirmed Steve Aoki, Charlotte de Witte, or Above & Beyond dates, when the Level 1 check-in desk develops a 20–30 minute queue by midnight. The guest list sign-up deadline is 8:00 PM every operating night without exception — a hard cutoff that applies equally to casual Wednesdays and peak Saturday headliner bookings. Submit your NoCoverVegas registration before leaving for dinner, not from the cab on the way to MGM Grand.

Hakkasan is open Wed–Sat, 10:30 PM – 4 AM. Hours may vary on holidays and during special events like EDC Week, New Year's Eve, or major conventions. It's always a good idea to check the current schedule before heading out, especially on weeknights when some venues may close earlier than usual. How much does it cost to get into Hakkasan?

Normally $40-75 cover — FREE with NoCoverVegas guest list. Cover charges at Las Vegas nightclubs can fluctuate significantly depending on the night of the week, whether a special event or celebrity DJ is performing, and the time of year. Men: collared or dress shirt, fitted pants or dark jeans, dress shoes or clean leather sneakers. No athletic wear, jerseys, sports shoes, tank tops, cargo shorts, or hats. Women: dresses, heels, or fashionable nightlife attire. Management reserves right to deny entry. 21+ with valid government-issued photo ID.. Las Vegas nightclubs enforce dress codes strictly at the door, and being turned away after waiting in line is a common experience for underprepared guests. For men, collared shirts, dress shoes, and well-fitted jeans or slacks are the safest bet. Women have more flexibility but should aim for upscale nightlife attire. Avoid athletic wear, flip-flops, excessively baggy clothing, and visible logos or sports jerseys.

Guest list covers both rooms: Ling Ling Lounge (hip-hop, Level 3) and main nightclub (EDM, upper levels).. These rules are standard across most Las Vegas nightclubs and are designed to manage capacity and maintain the venue's atmosphere. Following the guest list guidelines ensures a smooth check-in experience. If your group composition changes after signing up, you can submit a new guest list entry with updated details through NoCoverVegas at no cost.

Contact NoCoverVegas for a personalized quote based on your group size and preferred date.

There are no exceptions to the age policy, even for guests on the guest list.

What should I expect at Hakkasan?

80,000 sq ft across 5 levels — largest multi-level club layout in Vegas. Ling Ling Lounge: dedicated 10,000+ sq ft hip-hop floor on Level 3. Steve Aoki, Loud Luxury, Tyga, Charlotte de Witte & Acraze among 2026 performers. Once inside, you'll find a high-energy atmosphere with professional sound and lighting systems, multiple bars, and a large dance floor. The DJ booth is the focal point, with resident and guest DJs performing sets that typically run from 10:30 PM until close. Plan to arrive early if you want to secure a good spot near the action.

What time should I arrive at Hakkasan?

For guest list entry, plan to arrive at Hakkasan before the guest list cutoff time, which is typically around 12:00-12:30 AM for most Las Vegas nightclubs. Arriving between 10:30 and 11:30 PM gives you the best experience — you'll skip the longest lines, have your pick of spots inside the venue, and enjoy the full night. If you arrive after the cutoff, you'll need to pay the general admission cover charge at the door. On busy nights like Fridays, Saturdays, and holiday weekends, arriving earlier is strongly recommended.

Is Hakkasan good for a group or celebration?

Hakkasan is one of the most popular Las Vegas venues for group celebrations including birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate outings, and milestone events. The NoCoverVegas guest list accommodates groups of all sizes — simply enter your total group count when you sign up. For larger groups or special occasions, bottle service provides a reserved table with dedicated VIP service. Groups should coordinate arrival times to ensure everyone checks in together before the guest list cutoff.

How much should I budget for a night at Hakkasan?

With the free NoCoverVegas guest list, your biggest expense is drinks once inside. Mixed drinks $18–28, Beers $14, Bottles from $600. Budget roughly $50-100 per person for a comfortable night including drinks and rideshare transportation. You can reduce costs by using the guest list for free entry (saving $40-75 per person), pre-gaming at your hotel, and splitting a rideshare with your group. Bottle service starts at a higher price point but includes drinks and a reserved table for your group.

What is the atmosphere like at Hakkasan?

The five floors allow groups to split between genres without splitting entirely — EDM fans upstairs, hip-hop fans at Ling Ling, and the restaurant on lower floors for dinner before the night deepens.. The atmosphere at Hakkasan reflects the high-energy, premium nightlife experience that Las Vegas is famous for. The venue spans 80,000 square feet, providing space for up to 3,800 guests and a mix of intimate and open areas throughout the space. Whether you're there for the music, the social scene, or a special celebration, the energy builds as the night progresses and peaks around midnight through 2 AM.

How do I get to Hakkasan?

Rideshare: Rideshare dropoff at MGM Grand main porte-cochere on Las Vegas Blvd. Hakkasan entrance is inside the casino near the restaurant level. Parking: Self-parking at MGM Grand garage ($18). Valet at MGM Grand main entrance ($35+). If you're staying on the Strip, most nightclubs are within a 10-15 minute rideshare. Plan your return ride in advance, as surge pricing is common after 2 AM on weekends.

Insider Tips

Hakkasan What Regulars Know

Frequently Asked Questions

Hakkasan — Common Questions

The Hakkasan Blueprint

Five Floors, Five Atmospheres — Inside the World's Largest Nightclub

Hakkasan at MGM Grand spans 80,000 square feet across five floors and is the only nightclub in the world that operates an award-winning Cantonese restaurant, a dedicated hip-hop lounge, a mezzanine viewing tier, a Pavilion section, and a full concert-grade main room all under a single roof. Understanding how the floors relate to each other is what separates a strategic Hakkasan night from wandering through the building unsure of where to go.

Levels 1–2 — Hakkasan Restaurant & Bar

The award-winning Cantonese dining rooms occupy the lower two floors. White-tablecloth service, a full dim sum menu, and private dining rooms are available for group pre-club dinners. The restaurant-level bar runs full cocktail service for guests waiting for their table or transitioning from dinner to the upper floors. No cover charge for restaurant guests — dinner here means no-cover nightclub entry through the restaurant-to-club internal staircase.

Level 3 — Ling Ling Lounge & Ling Ling Room

A 10,000+ square foot hip-hop and R&B floor with its own DJ booth and dance floor — the Ling Ling operates completely independently from the main nightclub above it. R&Bae Wednesdays with DJ Franzen run here: classic R&B from Jodeci, Usher, and Mariah Carey in a room where conversation is still possible at the edges. The Ling Ling is the correct floor for groups whose musical preference is hip-hop over EDM, and it runs concurrently with the EDM main room so no one in the group has to compromise.

Main Room — Club Floor, Mezzanine & Pavilion

The main nightclub floor houses the full-scale concert stage, the primary dance floor, and the bottle service sections that face the DJ booth directly. The mezzanine level sits above the main floor and provides elevated sightlines across the full production — a lower-density alternative for groups who want visual immersion without the floor-level crowd press. The Pavilion sections wrap the sides and back of the main room: bottle service tables with sightlines to the stage at lower minimum spends than the front-floor premium positions.

The dinner-to-club arc is Hakkasan's signature group experience: arrive at the restaurant for a 8 PM reservation, finish dinner by 10 PM, and walk upstairs to the main nightclub as the headliner takes the booth — no rideshare, no re-entry logistics, the same building transforms around you from a Michelin-quality dining room to a 3,800-person festival floor. No other Las Vegas nightclub can replicate this transition at this production quality.

Sound System & Production

L-Acoustics Line Arrays & Concert-Grade Production at Hakkasan

Hakkasan's main room sound system is built on L-Acoustics line array technology — the same touring-grade speaker infrastructure that fills stadiums and music festival main stages. L-Acoustics deployments are engineered for linear frequency response at high SPL (sound pressure level): bass frequencies remain intelligible rather than diffusing into ambient rumble, mid-range frequencies stay articulate during peak DJ performance volumes, and the system maintains consistency from the front dance floor to the back Pavilion sections without the treble rolloff that affects conventional club systems at distance.

For InfoComm attendees and AV professionals who evaluate commercial audio systems during the day at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Hakkasan's L-Acoustics installation represents a reference deployment at operational load. The IC26 After Dark event at Hakkasan on Wednesday June 17 — with DJ Franzen headlining and free entry for InfoComm badge holders before 1 AM — is intentionally positioned at the venue where the audio systems are commission-relevant to the professionals attending. The multi-room LED architecture, the AV control infrastructure managing three simultaneous entertainment environments across 80,000 square feet, and the L-Acoustics main room system collectively represent the kind of installed systems that end up on InfoComm RFPs.

The multi-story LED installation above Hakkasan's main stage is designed as a production element rather than ambient decoration. The LED arrays respond to the DJ's performance cues — the visual environment changes at drop, breakdown, and climax moments rather than running preset loops independently of the music. At peak hours (12:30 AM to 3 AM on Friday and Saturday headliner nights), the combination of the L-Acoustics system at full volume and the LED installation at maximum complexity produces a sensory environment closer to a festival main stage than a conventional nightclub.

Getting to Hakkasan from the Las Vegas Convention Center: the LVCC to MGM Grand monorail ride is direct — catch the Convention Center station on the Las Vegas Monorail, ride south to the MGM Grand/Bally's station, and follow the MGM Grand casino floor signage to the Hakkasan entrance near the restaurant level. Total transit time from the convention center door to the Hakkasan check-in line is approximately 12 to 15 minutes on a weeknight with normal traffic. Rideshare from the LVCC to MGM Grand runs $12–18 and takes 8–12 minutes via Frank Sinatra Drive south.

What's On in 2026

Best Nights at Hakkasan — Summer Programming & Special Events

R&Bae Wednesdays with DJ Franzen are Hakkasan's most distinctive recurring event — the only weekly R&B night at a Las Vegas mega-club anchored by a resident DJ who builds the set around classic Jodeci, Usher, and Mariah Carey alongside contemporary R&B. Franzen previously held a multi-year residency at Drai's Nightclub and brought that R&B programming expertise to Hakkasan when Drai's relocated. Wednesday nights run at lower crowd density than the weekend and offer the best cost-per-experience ratio at the venue: shorter guest list lines, reduced bottle service minimums, and a more socially oriented crowd than Friday-Saturday peak hours.

IC26 After Dark — DJ Franzen, Jun 17

InfoComm's official after-dark venue for Wednesday June 17. Free entry for InfoComm badge holders before 1 AM. DJ Franzen's R&B set at the venue where the L-Acoustics and LED systems are convention-floor relevant.

Steve Aoki — Friday Residency

2026 Hakkasan headliner. Electronic house and EDM at festival-stage production in the main room. Aoki's theatrical performance style — crowd crowd-surf, cake throws, extended set builds — makes his Hakkasan nights among the most visually documented nightclub events in Las Vegas.

Hip-Hop & Crossover Saturdays

Tyga, Fabolous, BigXThaPlug, and Loud Luxury rotate through Saturday bookings. Hip-hop headliner nights run the Ling Ling Lounge and main room concurrently — the most genre-diverse single Saturday night available at any Strip mega-club.

Thursday — Ling Ling Lounge

TELYKAST and rotating performers in the 10,000+ sq ft hip-hop lounge. Lower density than peak weekend, industry-heavy crowd. The best Thursday night for groups who want Hakkasan's production without weekend pricing.

Dress code at Hakkasan applies to all five floors: upscale nightclub attire required, no hats for men, no athletic wear, no shorts, no sandals. The dress code is actively enforced at the main entrance regardless of which floor you intend to visit. VIP table minimums: Ling Ling Lounge starting at $750, Pavilion and back-area main room sections starting at $1,500 on regular nights ($2,500 on Saturdays), front-stage main room sections $3,000–$6,000 on headliner weekends. Tax (8%) and gratuity (20%) are additional. Guest list closes at 8 PM on the day of your visit — sign up before then at NoCoverVegas for free entry.
