About SuperZoo
What Is SuperZoo?
SuperZoo is the largest pet industry trade show in North America, bringing over 23,000 pet professionals to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center for three days every August. The show fills 350,000 square feet of exhibit space — Halls A through F — with more than 1,200 exhibitors representing every segment of the pet industry: pet food and treats, grooming equipment and supplies, pet technology, habitat and aquatics, health and wellness, and retail services. From independent pet shop owners seeing new product launches to national chain buyers placing mid-year orders, SuperZoo functions as both a buying market and the industry's most important annual education and networking event. New for 2026, SuperZoo expands its grooming programming significantly with the addition of the Groomer's Skill Lab, Groomer's Innovation Stage, and an expanded Groomer's Marketplace. The show also adds accredited veterinary continuing education in partnership with US Vet Shows — bringing CE credits directly to the SuperZoo floor for the first time. With over 60 education sessions beginning Tuesday, August 11 (the day before the main floor opens), SuperZoo 2026 has more pre-show programming than any prior year. Whether you are a first-time attendee arriving for grooming education or a veteran buyer with 40 booth appointments scheduled, this guide covers everything you need — from badge pickup logistics to Mandalay Bay's best after-hours options — so you get the most from your time in Las Vegas.
About SuperZoo
SuperZoo — What to Expect
SuperZoo 2026 runs August 12–14 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center — the largest annual gathering of the North American pet industry, drawing 23,000+ pet product retailers, groomers, veterinary professionals, and service providers to the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. Education sessions run Tuesday August 11 and Wednesday August 12, with the full trade show floor operating across all three days. The convention occupies the Mandalay Bay South Convention Center, shared with the connected Delano Las Vegas and Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas campus.
The SuperZoo attendee profile spans independent pet store owners, national retail buyers, mobile grooming entrepreneurs, veterinary practice operators, and animal nutrition specialists — a professional demographic that uses Las Vegas trade show weeks as a mix of business networking and controlled recreation. The Wednesday–Friday schedule creates a three-night nightlife window that moves from mid-week club programming into Friday's full Strip circuit, one of the strongest weekday-to-weekend transitions on the August calendar.
## What SuperZoo Is — North America's Largest Pet Industry Trade Show
SuperZoo 2026 fills 350,000 square feet of exhibit space across Halls A through F at the Mandalay Bay South Convention Center with more than 1,200 exhibitors representing every segment of the pet industry: premium and raw pet food, breed-specific treats, grooming equipment and consumables, pet technology and wearables, aquatics and reptile habitat, health and wellness products, and retail merchandise services. Over 1,100 new products debut at the New Product Showcase — a curated feature space that launches before the main exhibit hall opens and draws the highest attendee traffic of any single SuperZoo feature.
New for 2026, SuperZoo introduces accredited veterinary continuing education in partnership with US Vet Shows — CE credits at the trade show floor for the first time in the event's history. Grooming programming expands with the Groomer's Skill Lab (hands-on equipment training with live demonstrations), Groomer's Innovation Stage (competitive grooming showcases), and an expanded Groomer's Marketplace in a dedicated show floor section. The Women in Petfood Leadership program expands to a half-day conference and networking meetup on the education day. More than 60 education sessions begin Tuesday August 11 — the day before the main exhibit halls open — covering retail operations, animal nutrition, grooming technique, and veterinary practice management. Attendees who maximize the education program typically arrive Monday or Tuesday morning to complete professional development credits before the show floor launches Wednesday.
## The Pet Industry Crowd — A Different Las Vegas Convention Demographic
SuperZoo's attendee base is meaningfully different from the finance and technology convention audiences that fill Mandalay Bay during Black Hat USA or NAB Show. The pet industry is people-driven: independent pet shop owners who built their businesses on personal relationships, mobile groomers running solo operations, specialty food brand representatives who started in home kitchens, and veterinary practice managers navigating the shift from traditional care to integrative wellness. This is not a Fortune 500 expense-account crowd in the same sense as a cybersecurity vendor sales force or an enterprise technology buyer cohort.
The consequence for nightlife: SuperZoo after-hours tends to be looser, more celebratory, and less corporate-entertainment-structured than most Mandalay Bay convention weeks. Groups that bond over three days of the show floor go out because they want to — not because a client relationship requires it. The pet industry's gender balance is also distinctly different from automotive, technology, or finance shows: the grooming sector, pet nutrition management, and retail operations tracks draw a balanced or female-majority audience, shaping the after-hours social profile toward nightclubs with strong dance floors and dayclubs with group pool environments rather than exclusively bottle-service-oriented private table dinners.
Dress code at Las Vegas nightclubs is generally compatible with the SuperZoo attendee wardrobe. Pet industry conference attire — branded polo shirts, clean dark jeans, fashion sneakers — meets or exceeds dress code requirements at Hakkasan, Zouk, Marquee, and most mid-tier Strip venues. The notable exceptions: sandals, cargo shorts, and athletic wear are prohibited everywhere. For SuperZoo attendees wearing trade show comfortable-day footwear, a quick hotel room stop to swap shoes before the evening is the single most common fix that ensures smooth door experience.
## Tailgate Beach Club — On-Site Pool at Mandalay Bay
Tailgate Beach Club opened at Mandalay Bay on May 16, 2026, replacing Daylight Beach Club and establishing the Strip's first sports-driven dayclub in the same 50,000-square-foot outdoor footprint. For SuperZoo attendees, the access equation is straightforward: the Mandalay Bay Convention Center halls are three minutes on foot from the Tailgate entrance. No rideshare, no tram, no transportation planning.
The venue operates Thursday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. During SuperZoo week, this means Tailgate is open on Thursday August 13 and Friday August 14 — both full show days. The five-pool layout, 145 feet of continuous LED screens with live sports programming, and 22 VIP cabanas with dedicated food and beverage service are all accessible without leaving the Mandalay Bay campus. On Thursday, the window between show floor close and Tailgate close creates an afternoon pool window ideal for team decompression before the evening event. On Friday, the show closes early at 3:00 PM and Tailgate runs until 8:00 PM — a full five-hour post-show afternoon.
Note: Wednesday August 12 (the opening show day) is NOT a Tailgate operating day — the venue runs Thursday through Sunday only. For the opening Wednesday evening, Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand (one tram stop) or Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay (63rd floor, no transportation needed) are the primary options. Plan pool outings specifically for Thursday and Friday.
## House of Blues and Foundation Room — On-Property Evening Formats
Two entertainment venues inside Mandalay Bay offer format alternatives for SuperZoo attendees who prefer something other than a large-capacity nightclub.
House of Blues Las Vegas is a 1,500-capacity national touring concert venue on the south wing of the Mandalay Bay property. The seated-to-standing concert format — national rock, indie, and alternative touring acts on a dedicated stage with full sound production — appeals to pet industry professionals who prefer a focused live music experience over an open dance floor. Access is walking distance from the convention center halls. No transportation required; no cover charge complexity. House of Blues programming during SuperZoo week (August 11–14) varies by booking; confirm the current schedule at lasvegas.houseofblues.com before your trip. The House of Blues Restaurant operates separately as a casual lunch and conference dinner option with no reservation requirement for groups under ten.
Foundation Room on the 63rd floor of the Mandalay Bay tower is the property's signature high-elevation nightclub. Open-format and hip-hop DJs program nightly from approximately 10:30 PM. The outdoor observation terrace delivers panoramic Strip views from 630 feet — one of the highest accessible view points south of center Strip. For SuperZoo groups who want an on-property nightclub experience without off-property transportation logistics, Foundation Room requires nothing more than a hotel elevator ride. NoCoverVegas guest list covers Foundation Room during SuperZoo week; submit 48 hours in advance for Wednesday and Thursday.
## SuperZoo Week and MAGIC Las Vegas — One of August's Busiest Convention Moments
SuperZoo 2026 opens the same day MAGIC Las Vegas concludes. MAGIC — the apparel and fashion accessories trade show at the Las Vegas Convention Center — runs August 10–12 and ends on Wednesday August 12, the same day SuperZoo's exhibit floor opens at Mandalay Bay. This creates one of August's highest-concentration convention moments: 60,000+ MAGIC attendees are still in Las Vegas on Wednesday August 12, combining with SuperZoo's 23,000 professionals and the post-DEF CON/Black Hat crowd that has occupied the Strip since August 6. Strip nightclubs on Wednesday August 12 see elevated mid-week occupancy relative to a typical August Wednesday.
The practical implication: submit NoCoverVegas guest list for Wednesday night venues by Monday August 10 — not Tuesday or same-day. The MAGIC-meets-SuperZoo demand spike on that specific Wednesday compresses nightclub capacity faster than a standard mid-week convention night. The Hakkasan R&Bae Wednesdays slot on August 12 is one of the busiest mid-week club sessions in Hakkasan's August calendar for this reason.
An additional scheduling coincidence worth noting: the Las Vegas Raiders host the Arizona Cardinals at Allegiant Stadium in an NFL preseason game on Thursday August 13 at 5:00 PM. Allegiant Stadium is a four-minute rideshare from Mandalay Bay. For pet industry professionals on their first Las Vegas trip who want a quintessential Vegas sports experience alongside the trade show, Thursday afternoon Raiders preseason is uniquely accessible during SuperZoo week — no other major pet industry convention runs on the Las Vegas NFL preseason calendar.
## Wednesday, August 12 — Convention Opens
The trade show floor opens Wednesday August 12. Post-show Wednesday nightlife runs at mid-week scale — the major Strip dayclubs (EBC, OMNIA Dayclub, LIV Beach) don't open until Thursday or Friday, so Wednesday's entertainment options center on nightclubs and smaller pool venues.
At Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand — a 12-minute rideshare from Mandalay Bay — DJ Franzen hosts R&Bae Wednesdays at 10:30 PM. His hip-hop, R&B, and reggae format runs every Wednesday in August, drawing a consistent mid-week crowd to Hakkasan's 80,000 sq ft multi-level space. R&Bae Wednesdays offers a genre palette distinct from the EDM that dominates Friday and Saturday programming at most Strip nightclubs. Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan runs Wednesday night entertainment with Escobar's Lowkey in the Library event. Liquid Pool Lounge at The Cosmopolitan operates its Wednesday session with DJ Buza at 11:00 AM for any convention attendees with a midday break.
## Thursday, August 13 — Trade Show Day 2
Thursday is a full convention day. The nightlife options broaden: Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World Las Vegas runs Thursday programming, and XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas — operating normally through August 2026 prior to its September renovation closure — is open for the season's remaining regular calendar. No named headliner bookings were confirmed via primary sources for Thursday August 13 nightclubs at the time of publication. Liquid Pool Lounge at The Cosmopolitan runs its Thursday resident DJ Shr3d at 11:00 AM.
## Friday, August 14 — Convention Closing Day + Weekend Circuit Opens
Friday August 14 is the final convention floor day and simultaneously the opening night of one of mid-August's strongest Strip weekends. The show floor closes at standard trade show hours, releasing 23,000+ attendees into the Strip's Friday entertainment circuit — a timing that reliably lifts mid-Strip attendance at Caesars Palace, Wynn, and Fontainebleau properties through the evening.
Encore Beach Club at Wynn Las Vegas opens its Friday dayclub session at 11:00 AM with Gryffin — the Los Angeles DJ and producer whose melodic electronic and indie-adjacent sound brings an introspective energy to EBC's three-tiered outdoor pool stage. LIV Beach at Fontainebleau opens simultaneously with Sam Feldt's melodic house set at 11:30 AM.
Friday night runs four simultaneous headliner nightclub bookings. Tiësto headlines OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace at 10:30 PM — his cross-genre catalog spanning progressive house to tech house draws the Strip's largest single-venue Friday nightclub audience. Layton Giordani brings dark, driving techno to LIV Nightclub at Fontainebleau at 10:30 PM. Subtronics headlines EBC at Night at Wynn Las Vegas at 10:30 PM with his heavy dubstep catalog. Omnom holds Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan at 10:30 PM.
From Mandalay Bay, rideshare to OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace runs approximately 12 minutes. Wynn Las Vegas (EBC, XS) is 18–20 minutes. Marquee at The Cosmopolitan is 14–16 minutes. NoCoverVegas guest list covers complimentary entry at all four Friday nightclubs with advance registration.
## Guest List and Hotel Strategy
Friday August 14 is the highest-demand night of the SuperZoo window. Register NoCoverVegas guest list for Tiësto at OMNIA Nightclub by Tuesday August 11 for guaranteed processing — his bookings consistently fill guest lists 3–5 days in advance. Wednesday and Thursday listings are accessible with same-week registration. Walk-up cover at top venues runs $40–$70 on weeknights without guest list.
Mandalay Bay and Delano Las Vegas provide on-campus convention access. For guests prioritizing weekend nightlife access over convention proximity, Caesars Palace positions near both OMNIA and the Wynn/EBC corridor. The MGM Grand sits between Mandalay Bay and mid-Strip properties with Hakkasan Nightclub and Palm Tree Beach Club on-property.
## Saturday, August 15 — Post-Convention Weekend
The convention floor closes Friday August 14, but a large share of SuperZoo attendees extend their Las Vegas trip through Saturday — and August 15 delivers one of mid-August's strongest Strip weekend nights. Saturday lineup: Alesso at OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace (10:30 PM) — his progressive house and pop-crossover catalog runs the full OMNIA main room; DJ Pauly D at Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand (10:30 PM) — a 12-minute rideshare from Mandalay Bay; and Elderbrook performing a DJ Set at Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan (10:30 PM). For SuperZoo attendees with a Saturday departure flight on Sunday, August 15 is the strongest single nightclub night of the entire convention window. Register NoCoverVegas guest list 5–7 days in advance for Alesso at OMNIA; Hakkasan and Marquee are accessible with 3–5 days advance sign-up on a standard August Saturday.

Badge Pickup & Show Hours
Badge Pickup
Badge pickup and registration is located in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center Bayside registration area. Pre-registered attendees with confirmed industry credentials can use express self-service kiosks with their confirmation QR code — have your email confirmation on your phone before approaching the kiosk. First-time registrants or attendees whose credentials are still under review must use the staffed registration desks, which can have 15–30 minute waits during peak windows. Registration opens Monday, August 10 — one full day before the Tuesday education sessions begin. Picking up your badge Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning is strongly recommended for all attendees. Wednesday opening day registration at Mandalay Bay is high-volume, and the lines at the Bayside registration area can extend significantly if you wait until Wednesday morning. If you are attending Tuesday education sessions, plan to arrive with enough time to complete badge pickup before your first session starts. On-site registration (for attendees who did not pre-register) is available with valid business credentials and may require the same 1–3 day verification window that online applicants experience — do not assume on-site same-day registration is available.
Show Floor Hours
Quick Tips for First-Timers
- SuperZoo is a trade-only event. Bring valid business credentials (business license, resale permit, or industry proof) for registration.
- The New Product Showcase is a must-visit. It highlights the most innovative pet products launching at the show — great for spotting trends.
- If you are a groomer, do not miss the grooming competitions and demonstrations. They draw crowds, so arrive early for a good viewing spot.
- Wear comfortable shoes. The Mandalay Bay Convention Center is large, and the walk from the hotel rooms or parking adds up fast.

Getting There
How to Get to SuperZoo
Parking
Use the Mandalay Bay parking garage. Self-parking is available on a first-come basis. During major shows, arrive early as the garage fills by mid-morning.
Rideshare (Uber / Lyft)
Uber and Lyft have a designated area at the Mandalay Bay main entrance on Las Vegas Blvd.
Public Transit / Monorail
A free tram connects Mandalay Bay to Luxor and Excalibur. From Excalibur you can walk to the MGM Grand monorail station for service up the Strip. The tram runs every 3–7 minutes.
Walking from the Strip
Mandalay Bay sits at the south end of the Strip. It is a 20–25 minute walk to central Strip hotels. The free tram to Luxor and Excalibur helps, and from there you can connect to the monorail.
Vegas After Hours
Nightlife During SuperZoo
When 23,000 trade show attendees descend on Las Vegas for SuperZoo, the nightlife scene shifts into a higher gear. The Strip's biggest clubs extend their lineups, book marquee DJs, and host industry-specific after-parties to capture the surge. Expect longer peak hours, busier dance floors, and an electric atmosphere that feeds off the energy of the trade show crowd. Whether your group is celebrating a successful day of meetings or just looking to unwind, you will find every style of nightlife within minutes of your hotel.
Convention weeks create a unique dynamic in Vegas. The typical weekend tourist crowd blends with professionals who are in town on expense accounts and looking to make the most of their evenings. Bottle service tables sell out faster than usual, especially at venues like XS, OMNIA, and Marquee. If VIP seating is on your radar, booking early is strongly recommended. For everyone else, the guest list is the smartest move — it guarantees free entry and lets you skip the general-admission line that grows significantly during major trade show weeks.
The best part of going out during SuperZoo is the social element. You will run into colleagues, competitors, and new contacts on the dance floor. Some of the most productive conversations at any convention happen after midnight over cocktails, not on the show floor. Strip clubs like Sapphire and Crazy Horse III are also extremely popular with convention groups — free guest list from your hotel and no cover through our guest list make it an easy choice for groups of any size.
After the Show
SuperZoo After Dark — Nightlife Picks
SuperZoo attendees are a different breed from the expense-account executives at tech and automotive shows. Pet retailers, independent groomers, boutique pet shop owners, and specialty food brand representatives fill the Mandalay Bay Convention Center for three days — and when the show floor closes, they hit Las Vegas with the same energy they bring to a New Product Showcase launch. The pet industry skews younger, more independent, and more community-driven than most B2B trade show audiences. After-hours during SuperZoo week has a different vibe than Black Hat or SEMA: looser, less corporate-entertainment-driven, more about team celebration and genuine unwinding after a show that requires real physical stamina. Three days of walking a 350,000-square-foot exhibit floor takes a toll. The Pet Industry After-Hours Dynamic Most SuperZoo attendees are traveling on their own business dime rather than a Fortune 500 corporate card. Independent pet shop owners, solo groomers who saved up for their first SuperZoo, and small brand representatives with modest budgets make up a significant share of the 23,000 attendees. This audience values genuine fun, social environments, and value-for-money experiences — pool parties during the day and nightclubs with free guest list access at night represent the optimal SuperZoo after-hours format. The pet industry is also heavily female-attended relative to automotive or tech shows — the grooming sector, pet nutrition, and retail management tracks draw a balanced or female-majority audience, which shapes the after-hours social scene: mixers, dance-heavy nightclub formats, and dayclub pool parties are more popular during SuperZoo week than the bottle-service-only corporate entertainment dynamic seen at Black Hat or SEMA. Tailgate Beach Club: SuperZoo's On-Property Pool Party The single most convenient after-hours venue for SuperZoo attendees is Tailgate Beach Club — the sports-driven dayclub that opened at Mandalay Bay in May 2026, replacing Daylight Beach Club in the same 50,000-square-foot footprint. For SuperZoo, the relevance is simple: it is inside the same resort complex as the convention center, requires no transportation, and operates Thursday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Show floor hours at SuperZoo are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Wednesday and Thursday, which creates the perfect dayclub schedule: arrive Thursday after badge pickup for Tuesday's education sessions, hit the show floor hard Wednesday and Thursday, then decompress at Tailgate Beach Club Thursday afternoon before the evening event. The 145-foot continuous LED screen wall, five resort-style pools, and 22 VIP cabanas with stadium seating give the venue a distinctive character different from the typical Las Vegas pool club. For groomer teams and pet shop staff who are hitting Vegas together for the first time, Tailgate Beach Club is the easiest-access, lowest-logistics group experience in the city: walk from the hotel room to the pool in five minutes. For groups wanting a full dayclub VIP experience, cabana bookings through NoCoverVegas coordinate with Tailgate Beach Club directly — text (725) 999-9293 with your group size, preferred date, and hotel to arrange advance reservations. Night-by-Night Guide: August 11–14, 2026 Tuesday, August 11 — Education Day / Arrival: The first SuperZoo education sessions begin Tuesday, covering grooming, retail operations, nutrition, and the new veterinary continuing education track added for 2026. Many attendees arrive Monday or Tuesday morning specifically to attend education before the exhibit hall opens. Tuesday evening is the quietest night of the SuperZoo week — most attendees are just landing in Las Vegas and getting oriented. Dinner within the Mandalay Bay property is the natural Tuesday move: Border Grill (Mexican), Rivea at Delano (French-Italian), or Kumi Japanese Restaurant, followed by an early night before the main show floor opens Wednesday. Wednesday, August 12 — Show Floor Day 1: The Mandalay Bay Convention Center exhibit floor opens at 9:00 AM to a crowd that has been waiting since Tuesday. The New Product Showcase launches simultaneously — the single most-trafficked feature at SuperZoo, where brands introduce the year's new launches in a curated display separate from the main show floor. Groomer's Innovation Stage kicks off Wednesday with live demonstrations and sponsored product reveals. Energy is highest Wednesday: first look at new products, full-capacity exhibitor booths, and the entire 23,000 attendee base attempting to see as much as possible in one day. Wednesday evening is the primary nightlife night of SuperZoo week — the show buzz carries into after-hours, groups are together and energized, and the combination of show-day excitement and evening Las Vegas makes Wednesday the night with the highest club attendance. Wednesday August 12's standout booking is ACRAZE at EBC at Night (Wynn Encore, 10:30 PM, confirmed via wynnsocial.com) — known for the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic chart hit 'Do It To It,' ACRAZE delivers high-energy house and bass music in EBC at Night's intimate outdoor pool setting, a 15-minute rideshare from Mandalay Bay. Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand (one free tram stop from Mandalay Bay, 10 minutes) runs DJ Franzen's R&Bae Wednesdays — a hip-hop and R&B format accessible for first-time convention club-goers. For teams wanting a girls' night out after the show, EBC at Night's ACRAZE booking is the higher-energy electronic option; Hakkasan's R&Bae Wednesdays is the more social, accessible alternative for the full SuperZoo group. Thursday, August 13 — Show Floor Day 2: The second full show day typically has a different energy from Wednesday — more targeted, less exploratory. Buyers know what they missed on Day 1 and go back for follow-up meetings. The Groomer's Skill Lab runs Thursday sessions alongside the Groomer's Marketplace, giving grooming professionals hands-on time with new equipment from exhibitor brands. Thursday is also when grooming-focused attendees consolidate their product orders and schedule follow-up calls with distributors. Thursday evening is the most popular time for group dinners followed by nightlife: the show obligations are essentially complete, Friday is a short half-day, and the celebratory energy of completing a successful SuperZoo peaks. Tailgate Beach Club runs its Thursday afternoon programming starting at 11:00 AM — a great decompression option for attendees coming off Day 2 of the show floor before evening dinner plans. The confirmed Thursday August 13 headliner is DJ Pauly D at Hakkasan Nightclub (confirmed via taogroup.com) — his open-format pop and hip-hop set is one of Las Vegas's most accessible nightclub experiences for first-time convention attendees, well suited to the diverse SuperZoo crowd. TAO Nightclub at The Venetian runs Worship Thursdays with DJ Shift (10:30 PM, hip-hop and R&B), a good option for groups who want to book a Venetian restaurant first and walk to the club. Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World (15 minutes by rideshare) and OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace are additional options; neither had a confirmed named headliner for August 13 as of this guide's verification date. Bonus: the Arizona Cardinals face the Las Vegas Raiders in an NFL preseason game at Wynn Field Club (7:00 PM, August 13) — a rare opportunity to catch live NFL action before the nightclub circuit begins. Friday, August 14 — Short Day: Show floor opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 3:00 PM. Most attendees have their purchases committed and meetings complete by early Friday. The compressed Friday schedule means many SuperZoo attendees use Friday afternoon to explore Las Vegas before their Saturday departure — the LINQ Promenade, high-roller observation wheel, or a final pool afternoon at Tailgate Beach Club (which runs Thursday-Sunday). Friday August 14 has the week's biggest headliner: Tiësto at OMNIA Nightclub (10:30 PM, confirmed via taogroup.com and Eventbrite) — for groups staying through the weekend, Friday post–short-day is the highest-demand nightlife window of the entire SuperZoo week. Subtronics headlines EBC at Night (10:30 PM), Layton Giordani plays LIV Nightclub (10:30 PM), and OMNOM headlines Marquee Nightclub. For afternoon programming after the 3:00 PM show floor close, Gryffin plays Encore Beach Club (11:00 AM) and Sam Feldt plays LIV Beach — both strong post-show pool options before the evening headliners. Note: XS Nightclub at Wynn Encore is not operating during SuperZoo week; the venue began its renovation closure in August 2026 ahead of an anticipated NYE 2026 reopening. Group Activities for Pet Industry Teams Superzoo is popular for team trips — pet shop owners often bring 2–5 staff members, grooming salons send their full team, and brand sales teams travel together for the show. Group activities that work well for SuperZoo teams in the 4–12 person range: Tailgate Beach Club cabana booking: 22 VIP cabanas, stadium food service, five pools, zero logistics from the Mandalay Bay rooms. Groups of 4–20 can book a shared cabana and spend a few hours after the show floor closes — the single most practical group activity for pet shop teams who want a shared Vegas experience without planning complexity. Hakkasan Group Table: MGM Grand, one tram stop from Mandalay Bay. Group table bookings for 6+ are available through NoCoverVegas with priority seating at Las Vegas's most recognized multi-level nightclub. Wednesday and Thursday nights are the best nights for SuperZoo groups. Sapphire Las Vegas: The largest gentlemen's club in the United States (71,000 square feet) offers complimentary transportation from Mandalay Bay and free entry through the NoCoverVegas guest list. Popular for mixed and male attendee groups during convention weeks. Strip Club Guest List: Crazy Horse III, Sapphire Las Vegas, and Peppermint Hippo all offer free entry and complimentary transportation through NoCoverVegas. Text (725) 999-9293 to arrange free entry and limo pickup from your Mandalay Bay hotel.

Make the Most of Your Trip
Insider Tips for SuperZoo Attendees
Balance Your Schedule
Convention days are long and draining. If you plan to go out at night, map out which sessions and booths are must-sees so you can leave the show floor by late afternoon. A short break at your hotel between the trade show and dinner makes a massive difference in your energy level for the evening ahead.
Pick the Right Nights
The first night of SuperZoo is usually the wildest — everyone has just arrived and the excitement is high. The final night tends to be more relaxed as attendees pack and prepare for early flights. For the best club lineups, Friday and Saturday nights always deliver regardless of the convention calendar.
Recovery Game Plan
Hydration is everything in the desert. Keep a water bottle on you during the trade show and match every cocktail with a glass of water at night. Order room service breakfast or grab a quick bite at your hotel before heading to the venue — skipping breakfast after a late night is a recipe for a miserable afternoon on the show floor.
Book as a Group
Heading out with colleagues or clients? Larger groups get better treatment at every venue in Las Vegas. When you sign up for the guest list, include your full group count so we can arrange a ride that fits everyone and ensure your party walks in together. Groups of six or more can often request reserved seating at no extra cost.
Pool Parties During SuperZoo
Convention sessions typically wrap by 5 PM. That leaves the perfect window for a pool party before dinner. Las Vegas dayclubs operate March through October with free guest list entry — a popular choice for networking or blowing off steam after a full day of sessions and exhibits.
Gentlemen's Clubs
Strip Clubs During SuperZoo

SuperZoo — FAQ
Where is SuperZoo 2026?
SuperZoo 2026 is held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89119. The show occupies Halls A through F of the convention center — one of the largest exhibit footprints of any trade show at Mandalay Bay, with 350,000 square feet of show floor space. Mandalay Bay is at the far south end of the Las Vegas Strip, approximately 3.5 miles from the Las Vegas Convention Center and 4 miles from the Venetian Expo. The Tailgate Beach Club pool and dayclub is inside the Mandalay Bay property, two minutes on foot from the convention center entrance. The free Mandalay Bay–Luxor–Excalibur tram connects to the monorail network at MGM Grand for access to the central Strip.
What are the SuperZoo 2026 dates?
The SuperZoo 2026 exhibit hall runs Wednesday, August 12 through Friday, August 14, 2026. Education sessions begin Tuesday, August 11, with the Groomer's Skill Lab, Groomer's Innovation Stage, and new veterinary continuing education tracks starting the day before the main show floor opens. Exhibit hall hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Wednesday and Thursday, and 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Friday. Badge pickup opens Monday, August 10 at the Mandalay Bay Bayside registration area — picking up early on Monday or Tuesday morning is strongly recommended to avoid the Wednesday opening rush.
Is SuperZoo open to the public?
No. SuperZoo is a trade-only event for verified pet industry professionals. Eligible attendees include pet retailers (brick-and-mortar and e-commerce), groomers and grooming salon owners, veterinarians and veterinary product buyers, pet food and treat manufacturers and distributors, pet product wholesalers, and pet service providers. Registration requires submission of valid business credentials: a business license, resale certificate, professional certification, or a letter from an employing organization on company letterhead. Credential review typically takes 1–3 business days for first-time registrants — do not wait until the week of the show to submit. Personal pet owners and enthusiasts without trade credentials cannot attend.
Where do I pick up my SuperZoo 2026 badge?
Badge pickup is at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center Bayside registration area. Pre-registered attendees with confirmed credentials can use express self-service kiosks with their confirmation QR code — have your email confirmation on your phone before approaching the kiosk. First-time registrants or attendees with pending credential verification may need the staffed registration desks, which have longer wait times during peak windows. Registration opens Monday, August 10. Picking up your badge Monday or Tuesday morning is the single best way to skip the Wednesday opening registration rush. If you are attending Tuesday education sessions, you can pick up your badge before those sessions begin.
Can I bring my pet to SuperZoo?
No — and this surprises almost every first-time attendee. Despite being North America's largest pet industry trade show, live animals are not permitted on the SuperZoo exhibit floor with the exception of ADA-compliant service animals. The prohibition exists primarily for animal safety (the convention center environment — crowd density, noise, temperature fluctuations, and unfamiliar smells — is stressful for most companion animals) and for liability reasons. Exhibitors occasionally bring specific animals for authorized product demonstrations when those demonstrations are pre-approved by show management, but the general rule for attendees is clear: leave your pets at home or at a reputable boarding facility. Las Vegas has multiple pet boarding options within 10 miles of Mandalay Bay that accept short-term boarding for convention week stays.
What is the SuperZoo New Product Showcase?
The New Product Showcase is the most-trafficked single feature at SuperZoo and is widely considered the best annual barometer of where the pet industry is heading. Launching simultaneously with the show floor each year, the Showcase presents curated new product introductions from exhibiting brands across every product category: pet food and treats, grooming tools and accessories, pet technology, habitat and containment, health and wellness supplements, and retail accessories. For pet retailers attending SuperZoo, walking the New Product Showcase on Wednesday morning before hitting individual booth appointments is the most efficient way to identify the product launches that will matter most for their store. Industry journalists and trade media congregate at the Showcase on opening day — expect crowded aisles. Plan to arrive at 9:00 AM when the floor opens and go straight to the Showcase before the lines build.
What is the Groomer's Skill Lab at SuperZoo 2026?
The Groomer's Skill Lab is a new-for-2026 feature at SuperZoo, expanding the show's historically strong grooming programming into a hands-on workshop format. The Skill Lab runs alongside the Groomer's Innovation Stage and an expanded Groomer's Marketplace — together these three zones form a dedicated grooming education and trade area within the exhibit floor. The Groomer's Innovation Stage features sponsored talks and live product demonstrations from grooming equipment and product brands; the Skill Lab is the hands-on counterpart where attendees work directly with tools and techniques in a workshop format. Seating at Skill Lab workshops is limited and fills quickly — arrive early and check the session schedule in the SuperZoo app as soon as you register for the event. The Groomer's Marketplace lets grooming professionals buy directly from brands at show pricing.
What education sessions are available at SuperZoo 2026?
SuperZoo 2026 offers 60 or more education sessions across multiple tracks, beginning Tuesday, August 11 (the day before the main exhibit hall opens). Track categories cover pet retail business management, social media and digital marketing for pet businesses, pet nutrition and ingredient literacy, grooming techniques and salon business operations, and veterinary product education through a new partnership with US Vet Shows for accredited continuing education. Education sessions require separate registration in addition to the exhibit hall pass — some tracks have additional fees. Pre-registration for popular sessions (retail marketing, grooming business operations) is strongly recommended as capacity is limited and sessions sell out. The education tracks are one of the most underutilized aspects of SuperZoo for first-time attendees — the ROI on two hours of retail merchandising training often exceeds the ROI from another two hours on the show floor.
What should I wear to SuperZoo?
Business casual to casual attire is the norm at SuperZoo — the pet industry skews relaxed compared to finance or tech trade shows. The unofficial SuperZoo dress code is branded polo shirt or industry t-shirt, comfortable jeans or slacks, and the most important item you can bring: supportive footwear for high-volume walking. The Mandalay Bay Convention Center Halls A–F span 350,000 square feet — a conservative estimate puts daily walking at 6–10 miles when you factor in the hotel-to-convention-center walk, booth hopping, education sessions, and evening restaurant trips. Wear shoes you can stand in for eight hours on hard concrete, not shoes you just want to show off. Also bring a light jacket or layer: the convention center air conditioning is aggressive regardless of the 105°F temperature outside, and temperature differences between the show floor and outdoor areas can be 40°F or more.
How do I get from the Las Vegas airport to Mandalay Bay for SuperZoo?
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is approximately 3 miles from Mandalay Bay, making it the shortest airport-to-hotel transfer of any major Las Vegas convention destination. Rideshare (Uber or Lyft) from the airport to Mandalay Bay typically takes 10–15 minutes and costs $15–25 depending on traffic and surge pricing. Taxis from the airport are metered and average $18–22 for the same route. The airport has a dedicated rideshare pickup area — follow signs after baggage claim. No monorail connection between the airport and Mandalay Bay exists, but Mandalay Bay is the first major Strip property heading north from the airport on Las Vegas Blvd. For arriving attendees with heavy exhibit samples or product purchases, the airport proximity makes Mandalay Bay one of the easiest convention hotels to arrive and depart from in Las Vegas.
