About Delta Heavy

Delta Heavy is an English drum and bass duo consisting of Ben Hall and Simon James, who met at the University of Nottingham and discovered their shared passion for electronic music production — a meeting that produced one of drum and bass's most enduring British partnerships. Their 2012 single 'Get By' entered the UK Indie Chart at number 30 and established an early commercial foothold for the duo at a time when drum and bass was navigating the tension between its underground club origins and its increasing crossover potential. Signed to RAM Records, one of drum and bass's most storied and respected labels, they released their debut studio album Paradise Lost in 2016, a full-length project that demonstrated their production range and cemented their position within the genre's most commercially successful tier.
