ilan Bluestone is a London-based DJ and producer who has built one of the most consistent careers in progressive trance and melodic electronic music since his 2012 debut release 'Capetown' on Anjunabeats — the label operated by Above & Beyond. His production style, which he describes as 'tronce' (trance with distinct bass), pairs the harmonic sweep of progressive trance with rhythmic bass architecture borrowed from house and deeper electronic genres, creating a sound that occupies the productive center between euphoric melodic music and technically demanding bass-led club tracks. Collaborations with Andrew Bayer, Spencer Brown, BT, Cosmic Gate, and Armin van Buuren have placed him among the senior figures of the Anjunabeats artist community, and at least one of his productions appears in nearly every Above & Beyond DJ set — a measure of how central his recordings have become to the label's programming identity. His debut artist album 'Scars' (2018) collected the melodic precision of his most acclaimed singles — 'Frozen Ground,' 'Another Lover,' 'Sinai,' and 'Big Ben.' In 2015 he compiled and mixed 'Anjunabeats Worldwide 05,' an official label mix that reflected the trust Anjunabeats placed in him as a programmatic voice. His EDC Las Vegas 2026 appearances spanned both Kassi Beach Club's Dreamstate Pool Party on May 15 and the festival's quantumVALLEY trance arena stage — one of the few artists to perform in both club and festival contexts during the same EDC Week.
