About the Artist

Who Is Kehlani?

Kehlani Ashley Parrish was born April 24, 1995, in Oakland, California, and raised by her aunt after her parents — both dealing with addiction — were unable to care for her during childhood. She attended the Oakland School for the Arts, where she trained in dance including ballet and modern dance, with aspirations to audition for Juilliard before a knee injury in junior high redirected her focus entirely to singing. The injury that ended her dance ambitions opened the path that led to everything that followed. She first emerged on America's Got Talent in 2011 as part of the teen pop group PopLyfe, before leaving the group to develop a solo direction more aligned with the R&B, soul, and hip-hop-adjacent sound that defined her Oakland upbringing. Her 2014 self-released mixtape Cloud 19 arrived with a maturity and emotional directness rare for a debut tape from a nineteen-year-old, and its gold RIAA certification confirmed that the audience existed for uncompromised R&B storytelling in an era where the genre was being redefined by streaming and social platforms. You Should Be Here (2015), her follow-up mixtape, also earned gold certification and a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album — the first Grammy recognition for an artist who had released nothing through a major label, a distinction that announced her commercial viability before she had formally entered that infrastructure. She signed with Atlantic Records for her debut studio album SweetSexySavage (2017), which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 and established a catalog of R&B-pop productions that combined emotional vulnerability with commercial polish. It Was Good Until It Wasn't (2020) peaked at number two on the Billboard 200. Blue Water Road (2022), her third album, peaked at number thirteen and received widespread critical acclaim for its exploration of queer identity and emotional complexity. Crash (2024) extended her catalog at number twenty-five. On June 11, 2025, she released Folded — a single that peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and won Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, making her one of the few contemporary R&B artists to achieve Grammy recognition for a standalone single from a streaming-era catalog. Her self-titled fifth album followed in April 2026. At LIV Nightclub inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Kehlani performs live vocal sets that bring the emotional directness of her R&B catalog to a premium Las Vegas nightclub environment. Her confirmed 2026 LIV dates include June 19 and July 10. Guest list through NoCoverVegas for her Las Vegas appearances. Kehlani won Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards (2026) for 'Folded,' which peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 — adding Grammy recognition to a catalog that includes debut mixtape Cloud 19 (gold certified, 2014), the Grammy-nominated You Should Be Here (2015), and studio albums peaking at #2 (It Was Good Until It Wasn't, 2020) and #3 (SweetSexySavage, 2017) on the Billboard 200. The Experience

What to Expect at a Kehlani Show

Kehlani's sound: Oakland-rooted R&B built on emotional directness and vocal range spanning whispered confessional delivery through full-throated power — Kehlani's LIV Nightclub performances translate the intimate vulnerability of her mixtape catalog and studio albums into a Las Vegas nightclub environment, delivering live R&B production that contrasts with the DJ-format programming that anchors most LIV residency nights. At LIV at Fontainebleau, the professional sound systems and production infrastructure amplify every element of their performance — from the sub-bass to the high-end clarity.

Kehlani typically takes the stage on Select dates — confirmed June 19, July 10, 2026 (LIV Nightclub). Their sets run 60 to 90 minutes and deliver the full Vegas production experience with professional sound, lighting, and crowd energy that you cannot find anywhere else.

General admission cover charges for Kehlani shows are $50-75 — FREE with NoCoverVegas guest list. With NoCoverVegas, you skip the cover charge entirely and receive a free guest list entry from your hotel to the venue.

Where to See Kehlani in Las Vegas

LIV at Fontainebleau

Fontainebleau Las Vegas

HoursFri–Sun, 10:30 PM – 4:00 AM
Dress CodeUpscale nightclub attire strictly enforced. No athletic wear, hats, shorts, or sandals for men. Smart cocktail attire for women. 21+ with valid photo ID. One of the stricter dress codes on the Strip.
CoverNormally $50-75 cover — FREE with NoCoverVegas guest list
Capacity2,000
MusicEDM, House, Hip Hop, Open Format (Miami-influenced)

LIV carries the South Beach mentality from Miami to Las Vegas intact — the crowd is fashion-forward, the dress code is strictly enforced, and the DJ booth is the architectural center of the room with all 62 tables arranged in a stadium ring around it. This design produces a room energy that is distinctly different from clubs where the dance floor separates VIP from the performance: at LIV, every table is close to the DJ booth and every table looks onto the same focal point, which keeps the crowd's energy concentrated rather than diffused. Tiësto, who makes LIV his primary Las Vegas home for 2026 in his third consecutive year, draws a particularly devoted electronic music audience that arrives expecting a specific sound rather than a general nightclub experience. Dom Dolla, John Summit, and KETTAMA anchor the tech-house and melodic electronic nights; Metro Boomin and Cloonee bring hip-hop production energy that creates entirely different crowd profiles night to night — giving LIV more demographic range than any other Las Vegas nightclub running a single main room. The Fontainebleau property itself contributes significantly to the overall experience: the lobby bar continues serving after the club closes, the resort corridors have genuine design ambition, and the check-in and arrival experience sets a luxury tone before guests enter LIV. More curated and noticeably less rowdy than the central Strip megaclubs, LIV attracts guests who want the production scale of XS or OMNIA alongside a Miami-influenced social atmosphere that skews toward conversation and style over pure floor energy.
