About Kevin De Vries

Kevin de Vries is a German DJ and producer who grew up in a rural area near Cologne before relocating to Berlin, where he built a production career at the intersection of melodic techno and trance-influenced electronic music. His 2015 debut EP 'A Journey Through Life' on Complexed Records attracted immediate attention from the techno community, and from 2018 he became a core artist on Afterlife — the label founded by Tale of Us — releasing productions that combine the rhythmic drive of techno with the harmonic sweep and emotional uplift of trance. Releases on Sven Väth's Cocoon Records and Adam Beyer's Drumcode have expanded his label presence across the most respected imprints in European techno, and his sets at Tomorrowland, Awakenings, and Amsterdam Dance Event place him on some of the largest stages in the international club circuit. His sound is characterized by trance-tinged melodic progressions layered over the kick-drum architecture of techno, a combination that Beatportal described as pushing soundsystems to their limit.
