MCR-T (Julian McCarthy) is a Berlin-based artist with German, American, and Jamaican roots whose music sits at the unstable, productive intersection of ghetto-tech, Miami bass, hip-hop, and underground club culture. He is a founding member of Live From Earth, a Berlin creative collective that operates simultaneously as a record label, event organizer, fashion project, and artistic community — the kind of multi-platform underground operation that Berlin's club scene has historically produced when artists care more about cultural ownership than commercial positioning.
