About Nico Moreno

Nico Moreno is a French DJ and producer born in Caen, France in 1994, recognised as one of the most prominent artists in the contemporary industrial techno and hard techno movement. He began experimenting with DJing at age 16, exploring multiple electronic genres before committing to industrial techno — a genre whose combination of machine-driven intensity, raw textural density, and uncompromising tempo matched his approach to production and performance. At 20 he began producing original music, blending the funk influences of 1990s electronic music with the relentless energy of industrial techno, building a sound that occupies the intersection between rave culture's raw urgency and club music's structural discipline. In 2019, he founded Insolent Rave Records, a label conceived to support emerging talent in the industrial techno space and to push genre boundaries beyond established commercial parameters. In 2024, he released his debut studio album You Can't Stop The Movement, a milestone in his artistic development that consolidated his identity as a producer capable of sustaining a full-length artistic statement. His international festival circuit includes Tomorrowland, Verknipt, Time Warp (Germany), Kappa FuturFestival (Italy), and Dreambeach (Spain) — appearances that have established him as a globally recognised name in underground techno.
