Legendary Roots bandleader and Grammy-winning DJ/producer Questlove performs at On The Record, bringing his eclectic open-format style blending hip-hop, soul, funk, and soul music. Known for reading crowds and creating seamless all-night experiences with deep musical knowledge.
Founding drummer of The Roots since 1987 and NBC Tonight Show house band since 2014 with Jimmy Fallon; his documentary 'Summer of Soul' won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature at the 2022 Oscars. At On The Record, Questlove performs on Select dates, commanding some of the venue's most in-demand time slots.

Doors open around 10:30 PM, but guest list entry is typically guaranteed until 12:30 AM. For Questlove shows on Friday or Saturday, arrive by 11:00 PM. The venue fills up fast once the headliner takes the stage, and early arrival gives you the best position on the dance floor.
Dress Code Matters
