About Sofi Tukker
New York-based dance duo Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern performing as Sofi Tukker, who met during their senior year at Brown University in 2014 and moved to New York City to create music together. Known for their globally influenced dance music that incorporates Brazilian Portuguese lyrics, organic instruments, and high-energy live performance. Grammy-nominated for Drinkee in the Best Dance Recording category, the duo earned a second Grammy nomination for their debut album Treehouse and gained mainstream visibility through major Apple advertising campaigns and a catalog of club-ready tracks including Awoo, Freak, and House Arrest. Their 2024 album BREAD — an acronym for 'Be Really Energetic And Dance' — is their most innovative full-length release. Their live show is among the most physically energetic on the dance circuit, combining DJing with vocals, movement, and audience interaction. Confirmed at XS Nightclub at Wynn on Sunday May 17, 2026 during EDC Week, and Tao Beach at The Venetian on Saturday April 25, 2026.
