VAVO is the Canadian-British DJ duo formed by Vancouver native Jesse Fischer and London-born Alden Martin, who first connected in 2015 after Alden discovered Jesse's work online and reached out about a collaboration. The pair built their musical identity around YEEDM — their coined term for music that fuses country with electronic dance — arriving at a crossroads between two of North America's most dominant popular music traditions. Their remixes of Morgan Wallen, Kane Brown, Nate Smith, Dylan Scott, Mitchell Tenpenny, and Priscilla Block have earned multiple #1 positions on USA Dance Radio charts and seven appearances on the Billboard Dance Charts, including a peak of #3. Their rework of Shania Twain's That Don't Impress Me Much brought mainstream visibility to what had previously been a niche crossover experiment.
