About Yellow Claw

Yellow Claw is an Amsterdam-based DJ and production duo consisting of Jim Taihuttu and Nils Rondhuis, who built their reputation through a genre-blending approach that fuses trap, hip-hop, dubstep, hardstyle, and moombahton into one of electronic music's most energetically volatile hybrids. Originally formed in 2010 as a trio with MC Bizzey, they established their initial profile through their residency at Amsterdam's Jimmy Woo club before breaking nationally with singles including 'Krokobil', 'Nooit meer slapen', 'Thunder', and 'Last Night Ever' — all of which charted on the Dutch and Belgian national charts between 2012 and 2013. After Bizzey departed in 2016, Taihuttu and Rondhuis continued as a duo without altering the high-energy formula that had defined their live performance identity. In May 2014, they founded Barong Family — distributed through Spinnin' Records — establishing one of electronic music's most prolific independent labels and a platform that has released hundreds of tracks from emerging and established producers across the trap and bass music spectrum. Their studio album catalog includes Blood for Mercy (2015), Los Amsterdam (2017), New Blood (2018), Never Dies (2020), and Jesus Loves Trap Music, released February 27, 2026 — their fifth full-length album and their first in more than six years, arriving at a moment when their Las Vegas residency at Kassi Beach Club at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas continues their Strip presence.
