America250 Fireworks Night 2 — MGM Grand, ARIA & Planet Hollywood (June 13, 2026)

The America250 Fireworks Series is Las Vegas's contribution to the United States' 250th anniversary celebration — eight consecutive Saturday nights of synchronized pyrotechnic displays launching from rotating clusters of Strip resort rooftops between June 6 and July 25, 2026. Night 2 of the series fires on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 9:00 PM from three south-center Strip properties simultaneously: MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, ARIA Resort & Casino at CityCenter, and Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The June 13 display is choreographed to jazz music — the designated theme for Night 2 — broadcast live across three radio stations: KOMP 92.3 FM (Las Vegas's rock station, offering an unexpected crossover to the jazz programming), 97.1 FM The Point (adult contemporary), and 98.9 HANK FM (country). Tuning to any of these stations from a Strip sidewalk, resort pool, or hotel room balcony synchronizes the broadcast music to the 9:00 PM launch timing. The fireworks display runs eight minutes — the standard duration across all eight nights of the America250 series — with the show produced by Fireworks by Grucci, the sixth-generation family-owned company known as America's First Family of Fireworks.

Viewing from Las Vegas Boulevard requires no ticket. The stretch of the Strip between Tropicana Avenue and Flamingo Road places viewers within direct sightline of all three launch sites. MGM Grand's rooftop fires from the south end of this section; ARIA's rooftop launch at CityCenter sits at the center of the corridor; Planet Hollywood's rooftop display fires from the north end near the Miracle Mile Shops intersection. Watching from the pedestrian bridge between The Cosmopolitan and CityCenter provides elevated views toward both ARIA and MGM Grand from a position above street-level crowd density.

The fireworks begin at 9:00 PM regardless of audience size or weather (barring severe conditions). The three-property simultaneous launch creates a panoramic display across approximately half a mile of Strip frontage — one of the widest horizontal viewing angles of any single-night fireworks event in Las Vegas outside the July 4 Full Strip Spectacular. After the 9:00 PM fireworks, the same three properties — and nearby Wynn campus — offer a full nightclub circuit starting at 10:30 PM. Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand books Fabolous for the June 13 Saturday, giving guests who watch the MGM Grand fireworks a natural continuation into the venue directly inside the property. ARIA's Jewel Nightclub holds the June 13 Saturday residency with Phoreyz — one of the venue's regular Saturday DJs for June. The Chainsmokers headline XS Nightclub at Wynn Encore, a 10-minute walk north from the fireworks area. OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars Palace ran Tiësto through the afternoon, with the evening transition into OMNIA Nightclub. The combination of free fireworks at 9:00 PM and headliner nightclubs opening at 10:30 PM creates a two-act Saturday that is rare outside of major holiday weekends.
