ILLENIUM: ODYSSEY at Sphere Las Vegas — July 3–4, 2026

ILLENIUM — born Nick Miller in San Francisco and based in Denver — presents ODYSSEY at the Sphere at The Venetian Las Vegas for two additional performances on Friday July 3 and Saturday July 4, 2026. The July dates expand an original nine-show Sphere residency (March 5–7, 12–14, April 2–4) that sold out shortly after announcement, with the July 3–4 run added in April 2026 to meet sustained demand. Both shows begin at 9:30 PM — a later start than standard Sphere film screenings, designed to align the concert with Las Vegas nightlife timing and give attendees full use of the July Fourth holiday afternoon.

## What ODYSSEY Is

ODYSSEY is ILLENIUM's fourth studio album and the thematic center of this Sphere residency. Released in 2025, the album extends the emotional arc of his earlier trilogy — Ashes (2016), Awake (2017), Ascend (2019) — into a new chapter that blends melodic bass, progressive electronic production, and cinematic instrumentation across a tighter, more conceptually unified record than his previous work. The Sphere production translates this arc into visual form: each track section of the set is scored to original ODYSSEY-specific visuals created for the 160,000-square-foot interior LED display — the largest LED screen in the world — paired with the Sphere's 160-channel immersive audio system and 4D haptic vibration seating in select sections.

## The Sphere Experience

Sphere at The Venetian is the only venue of its kind in the world. The 366-foot-tall structure seats approximately 17,500 fans inside a fully enclosed sphere with the interior surface covered in high-resolution LED panels that extend floor-to-ceiling and across the ceiling above the audience. Unlike a traditional arena concert — where the stage occupies the front of the room and the visual experience diminishes with distance — the Sphere wraps the audience in visuals from every angle simultaneously. The audio system uses 4D spatial sound with 160,000 watts of bass-generating infrasound technology that physically moves air in the building, translating the sub-bass of ILLENIUM's drops into a full-body sensation rather than a purely auditory one.

For ODYSSEY specifically, the visual production is original content — not pre-existing music video footage repurposed for the screen. The production team built show-specific animated sequences, cinematic landscapes, and reactive visual environments that synchronize with the live audio mix. The experience differs from a standard festival stage or nightclub headliner appearance in the same way a film differs from a photograph: the medium itself shapes the meaning of the content.

## ILLENIUM's Music

ILLENIUM's production approach centers on emotional contrast — vulnerable mid-tempo melodic passages that unwind into cathartic bass-heavy drops. His most recognized tracks include Fractures (feat. Nevve), Feeling Alive (feat. MAX), Lonely (feat. Nina Nesbitt), and Feel Good (feat. Daya). His 2023 Trilogy concert at Allegiant Stadium — one of the first solo EDM shows at Las Vegas's 60,000-seat NFL venue — demonstrated that his fanbase had grown beyond the festival circuit into mainstream arena-scale demand. The Sphere residency is the next step in that progression: not just a bigger room, but a qualitatively different medium for the music.

The July 3 Friday show falls exactly on the night that Steve Aoki headlines OMNIA Nightclub, Meduza headlines Zouk, and Chase B headlines Hakkasan — the full Fourth of July Eve club circuit runs simultaneously. Guests who want both the Sphere experience and the Strip nightclub circuit can attend ILLENIUM at the Sphere (9:30 PM–approx. 11:30 PM), then proceed to after-hours at Drai's (1:00 AM) or the late-night window at any of the major Strip clubs.
