Sunday: The Last Hurrah
Most visitors check out on Sunday. The ones who stay are the ones who know something the early departures do not: Sunday in Vegas is genuinely excellent. The pool parties run their last day of the weekend with a “last call” energy that makes the crowd go harder, not softer. Six nightclubs stay open with programming that rivals Thursday. And the strip clubs, which operate seven days a week, are noticeably less crowded than Saturday but still fully staffed.
Sunday is also the day when Vegas does things you cannot find anywhere else. XS Nightswim — swimming in a world-class pool at midnight with a headliner DJ — only happens during the warmer months and Sunday is one of the dates. Kings of Hustler runs its final night of the week on the rooftop, giving you one last shot at the open-air cabana experience until Thursday. If you are in Vegas on a Sunday, do not write the night off.

Sunday is the last day of the weekend dayclub schedule, and the crowd knows it. Every major pool party operates on Sunday during pool season (March through October):
Encore Beach Club
Wynn · 11 AM – 6 PM · Peak: 1 – 4 PM
Sunday at EBC has a different energy than Saturday. The crowd is slightly smaller but more committed — these are the people who planned their entire trip around the pool party. The DJ bookings are still headliner-tier, and the 60,000-square-foot venue has enough space that the lower attendance actually improves the experience. Pro tip: if you could not get a cabana on Saturday, Sunday availability is usually better.
Marquee Dayclub
Cosmopolitan · 11 AM – 6 PM. Multi-level pools, Strip views. Last day of the weekend schedule.
Ayu Dayclub
Resorts World · 11 AM – 6 PM. Balinese-inspired. Sunday is more relaxed than Sat.
Tao Beach
Venetian · 11 AM – 6 PM. Upscale Asian-inspired design.
LIV Beach
Fontainebleau · 11 AM – 6 PM. Miami energy, premium crowd.
Palm Tree Beach Club at MGM Grand and Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay also run Sunday schedules. Stadium Swim at Circa downtown operates daily year-round — Sunday is particularly strong for NFL viewing with the 143-foot LED screen.
Nightclubs Open on Sunday
The nightclub roster drops from Friday/Saturday's 14+ venues to a focused six on Sunday. The clubs that stay open are the ones with the strongest programming and the most loyal followings.
XS Nightclub — Including Nightswim
Wynn · 10:30 PM – 4 AM · Nightswim events May–October
XS runs Sunday nights with the added draw of Nightswim during pool season. The outdoor pool area transforms into a nighttime party that combines the open-air setting of a dayclub with the production value of a nightclub. Headliner DJs play while guests swim under the stars or dance poolside. It is the most unique nightclub experience in Vegas and can only happen in a city where the pool temperature stays warm enough at midnight. If your trip includes a Sunday between May and October, XS Nightswim should be at the top of your list.

Mandalay Bay, 63rd floor · 6 PM – 2:30 AM. Laid-back garden party atmosphere on Sunday.
Apex Social Club at the Palms (55th floor) also runs Sunday programming with a more laid-back local crowd and panoramic Strip views. Marquee, Zouk, LIV, Tao, and Jewel are closed on Sunday — they resume Monday or later in the week.
Strip Clubs: Last Night for Kings of Hustler
Every strip club is open on Sunday, including Kings of Hustler which closes after Sunday and does not reopen until Thursday. If the rooftop experience is on your list, Sunday is the last chance of the week. The open-air cabanas, panoramic Strip views, and nightclub-caliber production make it worth prioritizing before it goes dark for three days.
The crowds at strip clubs on Sunday are noticeably thinner than Friday and Saturday but with the same quality of entertainment. Sapphire runs standard hours (6 PM – 6 AM, not the extended 8 AM Friday/Saturday hours). The 24-hour venues — Spearmint Rhino and Hustler Club — remain available around the clock.
Sunday is a strong night for a strip club visit if you want weekend energy with slightly less competition for attention. All venues offer free entry through the guest list.
Making Sunday Count
If Sunday is your last night in Vegas, here are two approaches depending on your energy level:
The Full Sunday: Pool + Nightclub
Pool party from noon to 5 PM (EBC or Marquee Dayclub for the final send) → Rest and dinner → XS Nightswim or OMNIA from 10:30 PM → Free entry at Sapphire or Kings of Hustler for the late-night segment. This is the complete Vegas day, from poolside to the last hours of the night.
The Chill Sunday: Dinner + Nightlife
Skip the pool party if you are recovering from Saturday. Long dinner at a Strip restaurant (Sunday reservations are easier than Saturday) → Foundation Room for cocktails with a 63rd-floor view (opens 6 PM) → Transition to a nightclub (Hakkasan, OMNIA, or Drai's) at 10:30 PM → Optional strip club from midnight on. A more relaxed pace that still delivers a memorable last night.
