Why XS Is the MDW Nightclub to Book in 2026

Memorial Day Weekend 2026 at XS Nightclub is the story of one property doing something no other Las Vegas nightclub can replicate: three consecutive headliner nights on an indoor-outdoor terrace anchored by a genuine pool deck at the edge of the Wynn tower. The 40,000-square-foot venue at Encore Las Vegas divides into an enclosed main room with floor-to-ceiling gold columns and a separate outdoor terrace that wraps the pool, and from late May through the summer months, that outdoor space transforms MDW nightlife into something qualitatively different from the fully enclosed mega-clubs across the Strip.

The three-night MDW lineup XS has assembled for 2026 — Marshmello on Friday May 22, The Chainsmokers on Saturday May 23, and Hugel on Sunday May 24 — is not a random sequence of headliner bookings. It is a deliberate ramp: the accessible pop-electronic crossover of Marshmello opens the weekend for guests arriving Thursday or Friday who want a high-energy first night without the peak-Saturday premium. The Chainsmokers headline Saturday at the absolute peak of the holiday weekend — a booking that consistently ranks among the highest-attended recurring Las Vegas nightclub shows of the year. And Hugel closes the Sunday arc with French house that transforms the outdoor terrace into the venue it was architecturally designed to host: warm May air, the Wynn tower's illuminated facade reflecting off the pool, and groove-forward melodic house that rewards staying out to close the long weekend properly.

No other nightclub on the Strip programs all three nights of Memorial Day weekend with internationally recognized talent at every position. OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars matches the electronic headliner energy on Friday and Saturday but operates as a fully enclosed venue. Hakkasanat MGM Grand dominates the hip-hop MDW circuit but serves a completely different genre demographic. XS is specifically the destination for guests who want premium electronic music in an indoor-outdoor environment with the Wynn's service culture from doors open to last call.

Friday May 22 — Marshmello: The MDW Opening Night

Marshmello opens Memorial Day Weekend at XS on Friday May 22, and the selection is precise. The anonymous helmet-wearing producer has spent a decade building one of the most recognizable catalogs in electronic music by focusing aggressively on crossover appeal — “Happier” with Bastille, “Wolves” with Selena Gomez, “Friends” with Anne-Marie, “Here With Me” with CHVRCHES. These are not deep cuts or underground tracks. They are songs with hundreds of millions of streams that guests at a Memorial Day nightclub recognize within the first four bars.

That broad recognition is what makes Marshmello the correct Friday booking. MDW Friday is when the first wave of holiday visitors arrives in Las Vegas — people who may not identify as EDM fans but who are arriving for the long weekend and want a legitimately impressive nightclub experience on their first night. Marshmello delivers that: a 90-minute set that builds through his catalog of future bass and melodic EDM, with familiar hooks landing at regular intervals for guests who may never have consciously sought out his music but recognize it immediately when it drops.

From a logistics standpoint, Friday at XS is the most accessible night of the MDW three-night run. Guest list for women is free with arrival before midnight. Men's list is open and relatively uncapped compared to Saturday's Chainsmokers show. Table minimums for the outdoor cabanas run approximately $2,000 to $3,500 — elevated from a standard XS Friday but well below the Saturday premium. For groups attending XS across multiple MDW nights, Friday is the night to settle in, learn the venue's layout, identify preferred spots for the weekend, and confirm Saturday logistics while the room is at 80 percent capacity rather than 100.

The outdoor terrace on a Friday MDW night in late May is XS at its most approachable. Average temperatures in Las Vegas on a late May evening sit around 75 to 80 degrees — warm enough that guests gravitate outside naturally, cool enough that the outdoor section does not function as heat relief but as a genuine preferred location. The pool reflects the Wynn tower's gold lighting, the DJ booth's LED production is visible from both indoor and outdoor positions, and the crowd density is high but not the wall-to-wall intensity that Saturday brings. If you are making your first visit to XS and want to understand the full venue before committing on the higher-stakes nights, Friday Marshmello is the right entry point.

Saturday May 23 — The Chainsmokers: The Peak MDW Night

The Chainsmokers on Saturday May 23 is the centerpiece of the XS Memorial Day Weekend program and one of the highest-demand Las Vegas nightclub bookings of the year. Alex Pall and Drew Taggart have built a catalog that spans pop-EDM chart anthems — “Closer” with Halsey, “Paris,” “Something Just Like This” with Coldplay, “Don't Let Me Down” with Daya, “Roses” — alongside more recent releases that have kept the duo consistently relevant across nearly a decade of top-tier festival and nightclub bookings. Their Wynn Nightlife residency makes them one of the two or three most frequently booked acts at XS, and their MDW Saturday placement reflects the confidence Wynn has in their ability to deliver at peak holiday capacity.

What separates a Chainsmokers show from a standard headliner DJ appearance at a Las Vegas nightclub is the live vocal component. Drew Taggart performs vocals live during their sets — original vocals on their own tracks, not prerecorded playback. In a large enclosed nightclub like Hakkasan, this element can get lost in the acoustic space. At XS, with its more focused main room, the live vocal element lands with more clarity. The Chainsmokers also have a performance format calibrated specifically for nightclub environments rather than festival stages — the catalog pacing, the transition management, and the crowd-interaction points are all built for a venue at XS's scale rather than a 50,000-person festival field.

Saturday logistics at XS during MDW require advance planning. Guest list for women is free with arrival before 11:30 PM — note the earlier cutoff compared to Friday. Men's Saturday list is capped and closes earlier than other nights; arriving before 11:00 PM is the target. General admission without guest list on Chainsmokers Saturday at XS runs approximately $60 to $80 per person for men, $30 to $50 for women. The most reliable path to entry on Saturday is either guest list submitted through this page at least 7 to 10 days prior, or VIP table service.

Outdoor cabana sections for Saturday run $3,000 to $5,000 minimum — the highest outdoor table cost of the three MDW nights. Indoor sections facing the DJ booth run $4,000 to $7,000. For groups of 6 to 10, a Saturday outdoor cabana at $3,500 works out to $350 to $580 per person, entirely applied toward bottle purchases. On a night when general admission entry alone costs $60 to $80 per person plus $18 to $28 per drink, the table premium narrows significantly when the group is planning multiple rounds. Tables also bypass the line — on Chainsmokers Saturday, XS entry lines can run 30 to 45 minutes by midnight. VIP table service means walking to a separate entrance, being greeted by name, and being at your section by 11:00 PM.

Sunday May 24 — Hugel: The Outdoor Terrace Night

Sunday May 24 with Hugel is the most underrated night in the XS MDW lineup. Every Memorial Day weekend, the Las Vegas nightclub industry focuses its attention on Saturday — correctly, because Saturday is the peak-demand, highest-energy, highest-spend night of the holiday. But Sunday at XS during MDW has a specific character that Saturday cannot deliver: the outdoor terrace becomes the genuine premium real estate it was designed to be.

On Saturday, the outdoor cabanas and pool-deck sections fill by 11:00 PM as guests secure outdoor positions during the most competitive night of the weekend. By midnight on Chainsmokers Saturday, the outdoor terrace is at the same density as the indoor main room. The experience is incredible, but the outdoor section has lost its distinction from the indoor floor. Sunday with Hugel is different. The MDW crowd that peaked on Saturday has already had its highest-intensity night — Sunday brings self-selected guests who genuinely want to be out and want the terrace experience. Hugel's French house sets are built for this: longer arcs, more gradual builds, melodic progressions that reward sustained listening rather than the rapid-fire drops of a peak-Saturday pop-EDM show.

Hugel is a Monaco-born DJ and producer whose French touch productions have become a fixture in the melodic house space. His remixes and original productions on Scorpio Music and Spinnin' Records sit at the intersection of classic French house — the Daft Punk, Bob Sinclar era — and contemporary melodic club music. At XS on a May Sunday evening, with the pool terrace open and temperatures still in the low 70s, Hugel's style is a genuine architectural match for the outdoor space.

Sunday guest list at XS is the most open of the three MDW nights. Women get free entry with arrival before midnight. Men's list is open and broadly available — no earlier-than-midnight pressure. Table minimums on Sunday outdoor cabanas run $2,000 to $3,500. For groups who want the XS MDW experience with maximum outdoor access and the most relaxed entry, Sunday is the strategic recommendation. If you are only attending one night of the XS MDW program, Saturday is the obvious choice for energy and spectacle. But if your schedule allows two nights — or if Saturday is unavailable — Sunday Hugel is a legitimately premium nightclub evening that will not feel like a downgrade.

The XS Outdoor Terrace During MDW: What to Expect in May

The XS outdoor terrace is the architectural feature that separates the venue from every other nightclub on the Las Vegas Strip, and Memorial Day Weekend is when it operates at its best. Late May in Las Vegas produces the ideal outdoor nightclub conditions: warm enough evenings that the outdoor section is genuinely comfortable from doors open to last call, but not the sustained summer heat of July and August that makes Las Vegas nights feel oppressive after midnight. Average late-May evening temperatures in Las Vegas sit around 75 to 80 degrees, dropping into the low 70s by 2:00 AM. On the XS terrace, with the pool reflecting the Wynn's illuminated gold facade and the DJ production rig's LED display casting color across both the indoor and outdoor zones, MDW nights feel distinct from a December visit to the same space.

The outdoor terrace at XS has two distinct zones: the pool cabana and daybed section, which is elevated table-service territory, and the open standing area between the indoor main room and the pool edge, which is general admission territory on non-table nights. During MDW, the outdoor standing area fills quickly — by 11:30 PM on Friday and Saturday, the transition from indoor to outdoor is dense. The better outdoor experience comes from either a cabana table reservation or arriving before 11:30 PM on Sunday, when the outdoor area is more accessible for standing guests.

One thing MDW visitors consistently underestimate about the XS outdoor terrace is the acoustic experience. The venue's sound design routes full DJ audio to the outdoor terrace, not a subdued ambient feed — you are hearing the same mix outdoors that the main floor gets indoors, at appropriate volume for the outdoor space. This means the outdoor terrace is not a quiet retreat from the DJ but a different physical experience of the same music. Guests who position themselves near the indoor-outdoor boundary experience both simultaneously — the crowd energy cue from the indoor main room and the open-air ambiance of the pool deck. The Friday Marshmello set and Sunday Hugel set are both built for this kind of sustained outdoor listening.

For table guests, the east-facing outdoor cabanas at XS — those positioned to look back toward the Wynn tower's golden facade — are the premier outdoor table positions. The ambient lighting from the tower, combined with the pool reflection and the LED production from the DJ rig visible through the indoor-outdoor opening, creates a photographic quality that XS's outdoor positions are uniquely capable of delivering. When you book through us, we request east-facing cabana assignments as a first priority for MDW outdoor table reservations.

Encore Beach Club and XS: The MDW Day-to-Night Arc

One of the strongest features of the Wynn and Encore campus for Memorial Day Weekend is the ability to run a complete day-to-night nightlife arc without leaving the property. Encore Beach Club— the outdoor pool party venue adjacent to XS — operates its own MDW programming starting around noon, with headliner DJs running through the afternoon into early evening. The two venues share a campus and are connected through the resort's internal corridors, making the transition from an EBC dayclub session to XS at night a five-minute walk.

The Memorial Day Weekend day-to-night arc at Encore is one of the most logistically efficient in Las Vegas nightlife. A Saturday that starts at Encore Beach Club at 1:00 PM, runs through the afternoon DJ set, transitions to a room break and dinner at SW Steakhouse or Mizumi at the Wynn at 8:00 PM, and arrives at XS for The Chainsmokers by 11:00 PM involves no rideshare, no transit delays, and no risk of losing access during the transition. The same property handles every component of that 12-hour MDW Saturday arc.

EBC for MDW 2026 runs its own headline DJ program — the dayclub has established itself as one of the premier MDW pool party destinations in the country, with bookings that rival the best nightclub-format MDW Saturday shows. The combination of EBC afternoon and XS night on the same MDW day is a genuine two-show experience on one campus. Groups who are committing to MDW at the Wynn and Encore property and who want to maximize their time should plan this arc explicitly. Contact us through the form on this page and we can coordinate EBC daytime access and XS nighttime guest list or bottle service as a bundled MDW package — pricing for combined EBC plus XS bookings is available and in some cases comes in below booking each venue separately.

The EBC plus XS combination also resolves the MDW scheduling debate for groups with members who want both pool party and nightclub experiences. Saturday becomes the natural focus day: EBC afternoon for the pool-party contingent, XS night for the nightclub-focused members, with the transition built into the property layout. The Wynn resort's other outlets — the casino floor, the restaurants, the spa — provide programming for any members of the group who want to decompress during the transition window between EBC and XS.

MDW Table Service at XS: Sections, Pricing, and Value Math

XS has one of the most layered table maps in Las Vegas, and during Memorial Day Weekend the positioning decision matters more than on a standard weekend because the venue operates at or above capacity all three nights. Understanding the table geography at XS before you book is essential for getting the MDW experience you are actually paying for.

Outdoor pool cabanas are the crown jewel of XS table real estate. These positions on the pool deck give you the outdoor terrace experience with a defined physical territory. During MDW, the outdoor standing area fills by midnight — a cabana means you have outdoor access all night without competing for space. MDW pricing: $2,000 to $3,500 Friday and Sunday, $3,000 to $5,000 Saturday.

Main floor indoor sections facing the DJ booth are the highest-energy indoor position. These put you in the direct sight line of the DJ setup, with full LED production visible and the sound system centered on your position. During Chainsmokers Saturday, the main floor sections are where the peak energy concentrates and where the live vocal element of the Chainsmokers show lands with the most impact. MDW pricing: $3,000 to $5,000 Friday and Sunday, $4,000 to $7,000 Saturday.

Upper mezzanine and secondary sections are the value-tier option that still delivers the full XS experience. These positions offer elevated sight lines over the main floor and full access to the outdoor terrace, at pricing roughly 30 to 40 percent below the main-floor premium sections. For groups whose primary goal is attending a Chainsmokers Saturday at XS rather than a specific table position, mezzanine sections represent the most efficient spend. MDW pricing: $1,500 to $2,500 Friday and Sunday, $2,500 to $4,000 Saturday.

The value math across all table tiers comes back to the same calculation: minimums are applied entirely toward bottle purchases, and the entry bypass is a tangible benefit on peak MDW nights. On Chainsmokers Saturday at XS, the alternative to a table is $60 to $80 per person general admission cover, a 30 to 45 minute entry line, plus drink purchases at $18 to $28 per drink once inside. A group of 8 spending $3,500 on a table is spending $437 per person — before accounting for the line bypass, the dedicated server, and the guaranteed outdoor terrace access.

XS MDW Guest List: Night-by-Night Rules and Arrival Windows

Guest list at XS for Memorial Day Weekend follows the standard Las Vegas nightclub model with holiday-specific tightening on Saturday night. The fundamentals are consistent across all three nights: sign up through NoCoverVegas.com, present a valid government-issued ID at the guest list check-in desk, arrive within the posted cutoff window, and entry is free or reduced cover depending on the night and gender.

Friday May 22 (Marshmello):Women on guest list enter free with arrival before midnight. Men's list is available with arrival before midnight. Friday has the broadest guest list availability of the three MDW nights — submit at least 48 hours in advance. Early Friday arrival by 11:00 PM gives you the best pick of standing positions in the outdoor section before the terrace fills.

Saturday May 23 (The Chainsmokers):Women on guest list enter free with arrival before 11:30 PM — the cutoff is 30 minutes earlier than Friday and Sunday. Men's Saturday list is capped and managed by the venue. Arriving before 11:00 PM is the target — after 11:00 PM, the men's guest list at XS on Chainsmokers Saturday may be closed even with a valid signup. Submit Saturday guest list 7 to 10 days in advance. Groups of 5 or more men should consider VIP table service as the more reliable Saturday entry path. General admission without guest list runs $60 to $80 for men, $30 to $50 for women on this night.

Sunday May 24 (Hugel):Women on guest list enter free with arrival before midnight. Men's list is open and available into the midnight window — the most accessible men's entry night of the three. Submit at least 48 hours in advance. Sunday is also the night when the guest list line moves fastest because general admission walk-up traffic is lower than Friday and Saturday.

Security and ID verification at XS during MDW: XS uses digital ID scanning at all check-in points. Damaged or unreadable ID barcodes are rejected by the scanner. Bring a valid, unobstructed government-issued ID — a phone photo of your ID will not be accepted. The check-in process includes bag check and metal detection or pat-down screening. Plan for 5 to 10 additional minutes beyond the guest list line on peak nights for the security process.

Pre-Show Strategy: Dinner, Timing, and Dress Code for MDW at XS

The Wynn and Encore property gives XS an on-property dinner pipeline that no other Las Vegas nightclub can match. SW Steakhouse inside the Wynn serves a lakeside dining experience five minutes' walk from the XS entrance — the outdoor tables overlook the resort's lake and fountain, and the kitchen's wagyu and dry-aged beef program makes it one of the few nightclub pre-dinner options in Vegas that is genuinely worth the reservation on its own merits. For MDW Saturday, book SW Steakhouse for 8:00 PM and plan to finish dinner by 10:00 PM, which gives you a comfortable 30-minute window to arrive at XS at doors.

Mizumi, the Japanese restaurant inside the Wynn, is the alternative for groups who prefer that cuisine or want a lighter pre-nightclub meal. The omakase format at Mizumi can be timed for a 7:30 PM start and 10:00 PM finish. Both SW Steakhouse and Mizumi accommodate birthday and special-occasion celebrations with advance notice — if your MDW visit is also a birthday or anniversary, the restaurants can coordinate with the XS events team to connect the dinner and nightclub celebrations seamlessly.

XS enforces the strictest dress code of any nightclub on the Strip. For men: collared shirts or fitted designer shirts, dress shoes or clean designer sneakers, long pants. No athletic wear of any kind, no basketball jerseys, no shorts, no sandals, no hats with rare exceptions for designer caps. For women: cocktail attire, dresses, jumpsuits, going-out outfits with heels. MDW generates groups where dress code compliance varies — coordinate your group's look in advance and send the specific requirements at least a week before. One person in athletic wear getting turned away at the XS door on MDW Saturday can derail the night for the entire group.

Timing for MDW at XS: doors open at 10:30 PM across all three nights. For table service, arrive between 10:30 and 11:00 PM to meet your VIP host and settle into your section before the headliner takes the booth around midnight. The headliner DJ typically steps behind the booth around midnight, with peak energy from 12:30 AM to 2:00 AM. The window between 10:30 and 11:30 PM is also the best photography opportunity at XS — the venue is well-lit for early arrivals and the outdoor terrace is accessible before the standing areas fill.

XS MDW vs a Standard Weekend Night: What Actually Changes

First-time XS visitors sometimes ask whether the Memorial Day Weekend premium — higher table minimums, tighter guest list cutoffs, earlier arrival requirements — is justified by a materially different experience from a standard Saturday at XS. The answer is yes, and the difference operates at the level of crowd energy rather than production quality.

The production quality at XS is consistent across headliner nights regardless of whether it is a holiday weekend or a standard Friday. The LED rig, the sound system, the lighting design, the service standard — these do not change between a regular Chainsmokers Saturday and a Chainsmokers MDW Saturday. What changes is the crowd composition and energy density. Memorial Day Weekend brings to Las Vegas a cohort of guests who have specifically planned and paid to be at XS on that particular night — people who researched the lineup weeks in advance and arrived with the intention of having a genuine peak nightlife experience. That intentionality shows in the crowd energy in a way that a standard weekend crowd, which includes more casual or spontaneous attendees, does not replicate.

The Chainsmokers have played XS dozens of times over their Wynn residency. They know this crowd, this room, and this audience's response to their catalog. Their MDW Saturday set is not a different set list from a standard Saturday — but the performance level and the crowd's reciprocal energy creates an experience that experienced XS attendees consistently describe as qualitatively different from a non-holiday show. This is the intangible premium that holiday weekend pricing at XS represents, and for guests building their Las Vegas nightlife itinerary around a single peak experience, MDW Saturday at XS is one of the top five nightclub nights in the country in any given year.

For groups comparing XS MDW to OMNIA MDW: OMNIA on Saturday programs Steve Aoki with the kinetic chandelier — visually more spectacular on first impression, fully enclosed, with table minimums comparable to XS. The choice between them comes down to whether your group prioritizes the outdoor terrace (XS) or the kinetic chandelier spectacle and three-room format (OMNIA). For first-time Las Vegas visitors, OMNIA's chandelier is the single most immediately memorable feature of any Strip nightclub. For guests who have been to OMNIA previously, XS's outdoor terrace is the upgrade — a production-quality nightclub in a venue that feels genuinely different from every other club on the Strip.

FAQ

XS Nightclub MDW 2026 — Common Questions

Who is performing at XS Nightclub Memorial Day Weekend 2026?

XS Nightclub at Encore is booking three consecutive nights of headliner talent for Memorial Day Weekend 2026: Marshmello on Friday May 22, The Chainsmokers on Saturday May 23, and Hugel on Sunday May 24. All shows start at 11:00 PM. This is one of the strongest three-night holiday lineups XS has programmed — a mix of crossover pop-electronic (Marshmello), pop-EDM chart headliners (The Chainsmokers), and melodic French house (Hugel) that covers the full range of electronic nightclub preferences across the holiday weekend.

How do I get on the guest list for XS MDW 2026?

Sign up through NoCoverVegas.com using the form on this page and specify which night or nights you want to attend. Women on list get free entry all three nights with arrival before midnight (Friday/Sunday) or 11:30 PM (Saturday Chainsmokers night). Men's guest list is available Friday and Sunday with arrival before midnight. Saturday men's list is capped — arrive before 11:00 PM. For all three nights, guest list must be submitted at least 48 hours before the event; for The Chainsmokers Saturday, submit 7-10 days in advance to guarantee placement.

What is the MDW bottle service cost at XS Nightclub?

Memorial Day Weekend table minimums at XS are elevated from standard weekend pricing. Outdoor pool cabanas run approximately $2,000 to $3,500 on Friday and Sunday, and $3,000 to $5,000 on The Chainsmokers Saturday. Indoor sections facing the DJ booth run $3,000 to $5,000 Friday and Sunday, and $4,000 to $7,000 on Saturday. Upper mezzanine and secondary sections start around $1,500 Friday and Sunday. These minimums go entirely toward bottle purchases — the cost covers the drinks your group would be ordering anyway plus guaranteed entry, a dedicated server, and the ability to bypass all lines.

Is the XS outdoor terrace open for Memorial Day Weekend?

Yes — the XS outdoor pool terrace is fully open for Memorial Day Weekend. May in Las Vegas has average evening temperatures around 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit, making late-May the peak period for the outdoor terrace experience. The terrace wraps along the pool deck adjacent to Encore Beach Club and provides direct views of the Wynn tower's illuminated facade at night. MDW Saturday is when outdoor sections are most competitive — arrive early with a table reservation or expect the outdoor zones to fill by midnight. Sunday is the best night to experience the full outdoor terrace with slightly reduced crowd density after the Saturday peak.

What night is best to go to XS during Memorial Day Weekend?

Saturday May 23 with The Chainsmokers is the peak-energy night — the highest-demand booking of the three MDW nights with the largest crowd, best production, and the most electric atmosphere XS delivers during a holiday weekend. It also commands the highest table minimums and tightest guest list cutoffs. Friday May 22 with Marshmello is the best value night — accessible guest list, same outdoor terrace, and a Marshmello set that draws a large crowd without Saturday's peak intensity. Sunday May 24 with Hugel is the undiscovered MDW gem: strong French house programming, broad guest list availability, and the night when the outdoor terrace is most relaxed and accessible.

Can I do Encore Beach Club and XS on the same MDW day?

Yes, and this is the signature MDW move at the Wynn and Encore property. Encore Beach Club operates on the same campus as XS from approximately noon to sunset, with headliner DJs during the afternoon session. You can book an EBC cabana or daybed for the afternoon, enjoy 4-5 hours of poolside electronic music, and then transition directly to XS at night without leaving the property. Some guests book both on the same day as a bundled purchase — contact us for combined EBC plus XS MDW pricing.

What time does XS open and close during Memorial Day Weekend?

XS opens at 10:30 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. The venue closes at approximately 4:00 AM. For table service, arrive between 10:30 and 11:00 PM to settle in before the headliner takes the booth around midnight. For guest list entry, arrive before the posted cutoff: midnight for Friday and Sunday, 11:30 PM for Saturday. By 12:30 AM on Saturday, XS reaches capacity and late guest list arrivals may be turned away even with a valid signup.
