Boombox Cartel is a Los Angeles-based DJ and production duo consisting of Americo Garcia, from Laredo, Texas, and Jorge Medina, from Monterrey, Mexico. The two met while attending high school in Monterrey and later relocated to St. Paul, Minnesota, to study audio engineering and music production at McNally Smith College of Music.
