Schedule Status

Green Velvet in Las Vegas — May 2026

Green Velvet's full day-by-day lineup for May 2026 has not yet been announced by Zouk Nightclub or Ayu Dayclub. Residency schedules are published in rolling windows — most Strip venues confirm specific dates four to six weeks out, with last-minute additions common around holiday weekends and festival tie-ins.

The calendar above highlights the days of the week Green Velvet typically performs based on prior residency patterns. Use it as a planning guide, not as a confirmed booking list. We update this page as soon as a venue publishes a verified date, and NoCoverVegas guest list members receive a text the moment a confirmed Green Velvet date drops.

To hold a spot for the first confirmed night, sign up for the free guest list below — we'll reach out the moment Green Velvet's May lineup is posted.

May is dayclub-heavy. Encore Beach Club, Ayu Dayclub, Tao Beach, Drai's Beach Club, and Stadium Swim all run prime weekend programming. Memorial Day weekend is the biggest party weekend of the late spring calendar with three nights of headliners across every major Strip venue.

Green Velvet fits directly into that cycle. Techno / House residencies at Zouk Nightclub and Ayu Dayclub align with the months when Vegas weekend demand peaks, and May 2026is no exception. Whether you're planning a bachelor trip, a milestone birthday, a bottle-service table, or a last-minute weekend run, getting on the guest list ahead of the Green Velvet schedule drop is the difference between walking straight to the main floor and waiting in a general-admission line that stops moving the moment a set begins.

Note: 1 of 2 residency venue listed for Green Velvet does not yet have a dedicated NoCoverVegas page. The calendar still reflects typical nights at those rooms.

Artist Profile

About Green Velvet

Curtis Alan Jones was born April 26, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois, and performs both as Cajmere and as Green Velvet — two personas that together span 30 years of Chicago house history. Under the Cajmere alias he launched Cajual Records in 1992 and dropped Percolator, one of the foundational tracks of Chicago deep house. His Relief Records imprint, launched in 1993, became the home for Green Velvet — his neon-green-mohawked acid house and tech house alter ego whose Flash (1995) became a number-one US dance hit and whose Answering Machine became a cult artifact of mid-1990s Chicago house comedy. His catalog under both names encompasses some of the defining recordings of the Chicago house scene across three decades, and his continued presence as a live touring act confirms his status as a working musician rather than a legacy act. Green Velvet's Las Vegas appearances bring the original Chicago sound to the Strip. Guest list through NoCoverVegas for his Las Vegas shows. Sound

Green Velvet's Sound & Style

Stripped-down Chicago house and acid techno built on hypnotic repetitive grooves — Jones layers deadpan, absurdist vocal samples over raw 909 drum patterns and acidic basslines, creating a minimalist warehouse tension that feels simultaneously vintage and timeless.

Career

Green Velvet — Career Highlights

His 1995 track 'Flash' under the Green Velvet alias reached #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, and his Get Real collaboration with Claude VonStroke became one of underground house's most celebrated partnerships.
