Toronto-born Lomus Babber pivoted from his band Culture Shock in 2014 to launch Sickick, developing 'SickHop' — his self-created genre fusing trap, bass, reggaeton, and R&B. His TikTok remix of Madonna's Frozen went viral in March 2021, generating 125,000 TikToks and leading to an official Madonna collaboration.
