About the Artist

Who Is Slander?

Derek Andersen and Scott Land formed SLANDER at Icon Collective music production school in late 2013 after meeting at their UC Irvine fraternity and discovering shared electronic music obsession at a rave at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena. The duo name is a portmanteau of their surnames — Scott Land and Derek Andersen — and their sound became the defining voice of melodic future bass and heaven trap, a sub-genre they helped name. They are Grammy-nominated, co-own Gud Vibrations with NGHTMRE and the Heaven Sent label, and built their catalog on emotional collaborations: All You Need to Know with Gryffin (2019), Love Is Gone with Dylan Matthew, and Potions with Said the Sky and JT Roach (2019). Their debut full-length album Thrive (2022) arrived after four EPs and dozens of singles that had already established them as headliners at EDC, Insomniac events, and major festival circuits across North America. Their Las Vegas residency at Wynn Nightlife brings their emotional bass music to XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club. Confirmed 2026 Wynn dates include Encore Beach Club on July 25. Their 2014 Festival Trap Edit of Showtek's 'We Like to Party' (with NGHTMRE) helped define 'heaven trap' as a recognized genre; SLANDER is now Grammy-nominated with over 1.7 billion Spotify streams and 2 RIAA Gold certifications. The Experience

What to Expect at a Slander Show

Slander's sound: Heaven trap and melodic bass — Andersen and Land fuse the emotional arc of trance with bass music's heavy sub frequencies, then layer angelic vocals over the construction to create something that hits hard while evoking genuine emotion rather than pure sonic impact. At XS Nightclub, the professional sound systems and production infrastructure amplify every element of their performance — from the sub-bass to the high-end clarity.

Slander typically takes the stage on Select dates — confirmed July 25, 2026 (Encore Beach Club). Their sets run 60 to 90 minutes and deliver the full Vegas production experience with professional sound, lighting, and crowd energy that you cannot find anywhere else.

General admission cover charges for Slander shows are $30-60 — FREE with NoCoverVegas guest list. With NoCoverVegas, you skip the cover charge entirely and receive a free guest list entry from your hotel to the venue.

Pro Tips

Insider Tips for Seeing Slander in Vegas

Arrive Early

Doors open around 10:30 PM, but guest list entry is typically guaranteed until 12:30 AM. For Slander shows on Friday or Saturday, arrive by 11:00 PM. The venue fills up fast once the headliner takes the stage, and early arrival gives you the best position on the dance floor.

Dress Code Matters

Vegas nightclub dress code is strictly enforced, even on guest list. Men should wear collared shirts, dress pants or dark jeans, and dress shoes. Women should wear cocktail attire or upscale club wear. No athletic shoes, sandals, or overly casual clothing.

Group Strategy

Guest list works best with an even gender ratio. Groups with more women than men get in faster. All-male groups should consider adding bottle service for guaranteed entry, especially on headliner nights. For groups of 8 or more, contact us directly for VIP packages.

Use the Free Entry

The free entry service saves you $30-50 in rideshare surge pricing on busy nights. Plus, arriving by ride often means a smoother entry experience at the venue. Just mention it when you sign up for the guest list, and we will coordinate pickup from your hotel.

Upcoming Weekend Event

Slander at EBC at Night — July 25, 2026 (After ODESZA Dayclub Set)

Slander performs at EBC at Night on Saturday July 25, 2026 — the same outdoor stage that hosts ODESZA's rare dayclub DJ set during the afternoon. The ODESZA-to-Slander sequence creates one of the best day-to-night electronic music transitions of the full July calendar: melodic electronic from ODESZA in afternoon dayclub format transitioning into Slander's heaven trap and melodic dubstep under nightclub production after sundown. Both acts perform on the same Wynn outdoor stage hours apart. Register for the NoCoverVegas free guest list at least 5–7 days before July 25.
