Las Vegas Club Crawl Guide
How to hit multiple clubs in a single night. Ideal routes, timing, guest list strategy, and transportation between venues for the ultimate Vegas night out.
How a Vegas Club Crawl Works
A club crawl means hitting two to four nightclubs in a single night. In most cities this is a logistical nightmare, but in Las Vegas the clubs are concentrated along the Strip, guest lists work at multiple venues simultaneously, and the late closing times (4 AM or later) give you enough hours to make it happen. The key is planning your route, timing your arrivals, and having guest list confirmation at every stop.
The Ideal Route and Club Order
Start at the club with the earliest guest list cutoff or the one farthest from your hotel, then work your way back. A classic route starts at Hakkasan (MGM Grand), moves to OMNIA (Caesars Palace), then finishes at XS or Encore (Wynn). Another popular route goes from Zouk (Resorts World) to Tao (The Venetian) to Marquee (Cosmopolitan). The idea is to move south along the Strip so your last stop is closer to home, or at least closer to a rideshare pickup.
Timing Between Venues
Arrive at your first club by 10:30 PM for guest list entry. Spend about 60 to 90 minutes at each venue. Leave for the next stop no later than midnight for your second club. You can arrive at your third club between 1:00 and 2:00 AM, well before they close at 4:00 AM. Moving between venues takes 10 to 20 minutes depending on distance and transportation. Do not spend too long at any one stop or you will run out of night.
Getting Between Clubs
The fastest way to move between clubs is a pre-arranged ride or party bus. We can set this up for groups of four or more. The second best option is rideshare. Request your Uber or Lyft from the casino's designated rideshare area, not the main entrance. Walking is viable if your clubs are at adjacent properties (OMNIA to Marquee is about a 10-minute walk through The Cosmopolitan). Avoid the Monorail for a club crawl since the stations are not conveniently located for most nightclubs.
Guest List at Multiple Clubs
You can be on the guest list at multiple venues on the same night. Sign up for all the clubs you plan to visit and note that it is a club crawl in your reservation. Guest list cutoff times vary by venue, typically between 12:00 and 1:00 AM, so plan your first two stops around those cutoffs. Your later stops will require either general admission cover or a pre-arranged late-night guest list, which we can coordinate for you.
What to Wear on a Club Crawl
Dress code consistency matters when you are hitting multiple venues. Wear something that meets the strictest dress code on your route so you never get turned away mid-crawl. For men, a fitted button-down or clean black T-shirt with dark jeans and dress shoes works everywhere. Women have more flexibility but should choose comfortable heels or stylish flats since you will be walking between venues. Avoid athletic wear, shorts, sandals, and hats at all costs. Bring a small crossbody bag rather than a bulky purse since you will be moving through crowded dance floors repeatedly.
Managing Your Tab and Spending
Open a tab at your first stop and close it before leaving. Never leave a card behind at a venue you are about to walk away from. Most clubs charge $18 to $25 per cocktail, so set a drink budget per venue before you arrive. Carrying cash speeds up bar service and lets you tip doormen along the route. A practical approach is to withdraw $200 in twenties at the start of the night and allocate a set amount per stop. If you are doing bottle service at one venue, skip drinks at the others and save your budget for the table.
Group Size and Coordination
The ideal club crawl group is four to eight people. Smaller groups move faster and get through guest list lines quicker. Larger groups tend to fragment as people get separated in the crowd, and re-entry policies vary by venue. Designate one person as the group lead who handles check-ins, communicates with promoters, and keeps everyone moving on schedule. Share your route and timing in a group chat before the night starts. If someone wants to stay behind at a venue, let them. Forcing everyone to move together when half the group is having a great time leads to a worse night for everyone.
Weeknight vs. Weekend Club Crawls
Weeknight crawls (Monday through Thursday) are dramatically easier to execute. Lines are shorter, guest list cutoffs are later or nonexistent, and you can often walk into venues without waiting. Friday and Saturday nights bring the biggest crowds and strictest guest list enforcement, but also the best DJ lineups and energy. If your trip spans both, do your club crawl on a weeknight and save your single-venue VIP night for the weekend. Industry nights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at select venues offer a local-heavy crowd and more relaxed vibes that are perfect for multi-stop exploration.
After-Hours Options to End the Night
If your club crawl ends at 3:30 or 4:00 AM and the group still has energy, after-hours venues keep the night alive until sunrise. After-hours spots operate from roughly 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM and feature a different atmosphere: no alcohol service, but a dedicated crowd and top-tier house and techno DJs. These venues are smaller and more underground in feel, which makes them a fitting finale to a high-energy crawl. Cover charges for after-hours range from $20 to $40, and dress codes are more relaxed since everyone arriving has already been out all night.
DIY Club Crawl vs Organized Tour: What is Actually Different
Organized club crawl tours run buses of twenty to fifty strangers between three or four predetermined venues on a fixed schedule. The appeal is that transportation and entry are bundled, but the trade-offs are significant. You move on the tour operator's timeline, not yours. If your group is having an incredible time at venue two, you still load back on the bus when the clock says so. The predetermined venue list rarely matches your personal preferences — most organized tours rotate through the same mid-tier venues rather than the marquee clubs where headliners actually perform. Costs for organized tours run seventy-five to one hundred and fifty dollars per person before drinks. A DIY crawl with guest list entry and split rideshare between stops costs zero for entry and fifteen to twenty dollars per person in transportation for the full night. The DIY approach through a promoter gives you guest list access at the same top-tier clubs the organized tour cannot get you into, personalized timing where you leave each venue when you want to, direct contact with a host who knows the door staff at every stop, and the flexibility to add or drop venues based on how the night unfolds. The only genuine advantage of an organized tour is not having to think about transportation between stops. For a group comfortable with rideshare apps, that advantage disappears entirely. Book your own guest list at each venue, split rideshare as a group, and save the hundred dollars per person for drinks at the actual clubs you want to visit.
Best Club Crawl Starting Points by Where You Are Staying
Your hotel location dictates the most efficient crawl route and can significantly reduce transportation time and cost. If you are staying in the south Strip cluster near MGM Grand, ARIA, or Mandalay Bay, start at Hakkasan inside MGM Grand — zero transportation from your hotel — then move north to Jewel at ARIA for a brief stop, followed by a rideshare or short walk up to Marquee at The Cosmopolitan for your final venue. This route moves consistently northward along the Strip, so your last stop is closer to the center-Strip rideshare zones. If you are staying in the center-Strip zone at The Cosmopolitan, Caesars Palace, The Cromwell, or The LINQ, your position is ideal for either direction. Start at Drai's Nightclub at The Cromwell as your first stop since it is ground-level walkable, then cross the street to OMNIA at Caesars Palace, and finish at Marquee on the rooftop at Cosmopolitan — three major venues across a four-minute walking radius without a single rideshare. For north Strip guests staying at Resorts World, Fontainebleau, or Sahara, start at Zouk inside Resorts World, move to LIV at Fontainebleau one block south, then take a single rideshare down to Tao at The Venetian before finishing at Marquee or OMNIA closer to the center. This north-to-south flow puts your longest transit at the start when you have the most energy and keeps the final venues within walking distance of each other. Regardless of starting position, the rule is to plan your route so the last venue is easiest to get home from — not the best venue. Save the best venue for your middle stop when energy is highest.

Insider Tips
Skip the Casino Floor
When walking between clubs at adjacent casinos, use the exterior walkways and pedestrian bridges instead of cutting through casino floors. The casino route is longer, more crowded, and disorienting. Exterior paths between The Cosmopolitan and Aria or between Wynn and Encore take half the time.
Screenshot Your Confirmations
Take screenshots of every guest list confirmation before you leave the hotel. Cell service inside clubs is unreliable and loading emails at the door wastes time. Having a screenshot ready lets you show the doorman your confirmation instantly without fumbling with a slow connection.
Use the Back Entrance
Several clubs have secondary entrances that are shorter than the main line. At Hakkasan, enter through the MGM Grand restaurant level. At OMNIA, the guest list line often moves faster through the side entrance near the Forum Shops. Ask your promoter for the fastest entry point at each venue.
Hydrate Between Stops
Grab a water bottle from a convenience store or casino shop between venues. Las Vegas desert air and air-conditioned clubs both dehydrate you rapidly. Drinking water during transit keeps your energy up for the entire crawl and prevents the early burnout that ruins most multi-club nights.
Your Game Plan
Club Crawl Step-by-Step
Sign Up for Guest Lists by 6 PM
Submit your group for guest list at every club on your route. Do this by early evening so your name is confirmed at every door. Include your full group count and mention it is a club crawl so we can coordinate timing across venues.
Eat Dinner and Pre-Game by 9:30 PM
Have a full dinner at a restaurant near your first venue. This anchors your night and keeps your energy stable across multiple stops. A light pre-game at a casino bar puts you in the right headspace without going overboard before the crawl even starts.
Hit Your First Club at 10:30 PM
Arrive at your first venue right as guest list opens. Check in, get your wristband or stamp, and enjoy the venue while the energy builds. Plan to leave by midnight so you arrive at your second stop while guest list is still active.
Transition to Club Two by Midnight
Move to your second venue via rideshare or on foot depending on distance. Check in on guest list, grab a drink, and settle in. This is usually the peak energy window of your night since the club is fully packed and the headliner is performing.
Finish at Your Final Venue by 1:30 AM
Your last stop should be the closest to your hotel or the easiest rideshare pickup. You have until 4 AM to enjoy the final venue without rushing. Close the night on your terms and head home whenever you are ready.
Common Questions
Club Crawl FAQ
How many clubs should I hit in one night?
Two to three is the sweet spot. You get variety without feeling rushed. Four is possible but you will be moving fast. One club per night is fine too if you are not in a hurry.
Do I need to pay cover at every club?
Not if you plan it right. Guest list covers your first one or two stops. For later venues, we can often arrange late-night entry or reduced cover. The worst case scenario is paying cover at your last stop of the night.
Can I do a club crawl on a weekend?
Yes, but weekends are busier and guest list cutoff times are stricter. Book everything in advance and arrive early at each stop. Midweek club crawls are easier to execute and less expensive overall.
How much does a ride between clubs cost?
A party ride for a group of 6 to 10 running between venues for the night typically costs $200 to $500 depending on the hours and vehicle type. Split among the group, it is often cheaper than individual rideshares and far more convenient.
What happens if we miss the guest list cutoff at a club?
If you arrive after the cutoff, you will need to pay the general admission cover charge, typically $30 to $75 depending on the venue and night. This is why timing your first two stops around guest list cutoffs is critical. Text us in advance and we can sometimes extend the window for your group.
Should we pre-game before a club crawl?
Light pre-gaming is fine, but pace yourself since you are in for a long night across multiple venues. Eat a solid dinner before you go out and hydrate between drinks. The desert air and constant movement will dehydrate you faster than you expect. Over-doing it at the start is the number one reason crawls fall apart early.
Can we split up and meet at the next club?
Absolutely. Some groups prefer to let a few people stay longer at a venue they are enjoying while the rest move on. Just make sure everyone is on the guest list at the next stop independently. Share a location pin in your group chat so people can find each other when they arrive.
Is a club crawl worth it for just two people?
Yes, especially for couples. Pairs move through lines and guest lists faster than large groups. You will spend less time coordinating and more time enjoying each venue. Couples also get priority treatment at most guest list check-ins, making a two-person crawl one of the smoothest ways to experience multiple clubs.
Can we build a club crawl around a specific artist performance?
Absolutely, and this is actually one of the most effective club crawl strategies. Book your anchor venue around the headliner you actually want to see, then build the earlier stops around venues with the best guest list access that night. Arrive at those earlier stops during the first ninety minutes and leave in time to reach your headliner venue before the performance starts. Your promoter can help coordinate timing across all venues to make sure you do not miss the set you planned the whole night around.
Is there a dress code check between venues on a crawl?
Each venue applies its own dress code independently when you check in. Wear an outfit that meets the strictest standard on your route — collared shirt and dress shoes for men, cocktail attire for women — so you are never turned away at any stop. You will be checked at the door of each club regardless of where you have already been that night. There is no carryover from a previous venue's approval.
What is the cost difference between a club crawl and staying at one venue all night?
A single-venue night on guest list costs zero in entry plus whatever you drink inside — typically sixty to one hundred dollars per person for drinks over four to five hours. A three-venue crawl costs the same in entry (zero on guest list) plus roughly twenty to thirty dollars per person in split rideshare between venues, plus reduced drink spending at each stop since you are there for less time. Total cost per person for a crawl often comes out similar to or slightly below a single-venue night because you spend less at each bar, and the variety of three venues typically makes for a more memorable trip overall.
What if one person in our group wants to stay at a venue longer?
This is normal on longer crawls and works perfectly fine. Agree in advance on a meeting time and venue for the group's next stop. The person staying behind can join later by rideshare and get on the next venue's guest list independently. Most promoters handle individual check-ins for group members who arrive separately. The key is sharing your guest list confirmation with everyone in the group before the night starts so each person can check in at their own pace.
Do all clubs on a crawl require the same ID type?
Yes. Every Las Vegas nightclub requires a valid government-issued photo ID proving you are 21 or older. A state driver's license, US passport, or military ID are accepted everywhere. International visitors should carry their passport since some door staff are less familiar with foreign driver's licenses. You will show your ID at every venue regardless of where you checked in earlier that night. Never leave your ID at one venue's coat check while you walk to another stop.
