Bob Moses on Friday July 24 is EBC's underground choice in an otherwise mainstream-leaning July calendar. The Canadian duo Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance blend deep house, organic electronic, and live instrumentation in a format that sounds markedly different from the compressed festival drops that define most EBC headliner sets. A Friday Bob Moses date at EBC represents the easiest lily pad access of any confirmed July performer — Friday crowds run 30 to 40 percent lighter than Saturday peaks, and Bob Moses draws an audience that tends to be smaller but more musicianship-oriented than a weekend headliner crowd.
