Our Lady Peace celebrates the 30th anniversary of their landmark debut album Naveed with a full-album live performance at House of Blues at Mandalay Bay — one of Las Vegas's best mid-size rock venues at 1,800 capacity. The Canadian alternative rock band — Raine Maida, Mike Turner, Jason Pierce, and Steve Mazur — built their reputation as one of the defining voices of 1990s and early 2000s alternative rock with Naveed (1994), Clumsy (1997), Happiness Is Not a Fish That You Can Catch (1999), Spiritual Machines (2000), and Gravity (2002). Naveed, the record being performed in full on this anniversary tour, introduced the band's signature blend of post-grunge guitar work, Maida's distinctive tenor range, and thematically ambitious songwriting — the album featured Starseed, which became a cornerstone of 1990s Canadian rock radio and placed the band among the generation of MuchMusic-era acts alongside Tragically Hip, Barenaked Ladies, and Matthew Good Band. The 30th anniversary format gives longtime fans a chance to hear deep cuts from the original tracklisting that rarely appear in general setlists, performed alongside the singles that made the album a commercial and critical breakthrough. House of Blues at Mandalay Bay is positioned at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, adjacent to Shark Reef, JOSHUAS, and the Mandalay Bay Beach complex. The venue's music hall combines standing-room floor space with elevated side viewing areas and a clear stage sightline from anywhere in the room.
