AWS re:Invent Badge Pickup — Location & Hours
Badge pickup is available at all re:Invent venues. The main registration area is at the Venetian Expo. Pre-registered attendees use self-service kiosks with their registration QR code. Registration opens the Sunday before the conference. Lines are manageable at satellite registration areas (Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand) compared to the main Venetian registration.

Monday is primarily workshops, chalk talks, and certification exams. The main keynotes are Wednesday and Thursday morning. Friday is a half day. The re:Play party is Thursday evening.

AWS re:Invent Tips for First-Timers
- Sessions span multiple venues on the Strip. Use the re:Invent app to plan your day by venue — minimize back-and-forth travel.
- Reserve sessions WEEKS in advance. Popular breakout sessions and workshops fill up fast. Have a backup list ready.
- AWS provides free shuttle buses between venues, but they can be slow during peak times. Walking or using the monorail is often faster for nearby venues.
- The expo hall at the Venetian has hundreds of AWS partner booths plus hands-on demo areas. Budget at least half a day for it.
- Bring a laptop for workshops and hands-on labs. AWS provides cloud sandbox environments and free credits.
- The re:Play party on Thursday night is the official AWS party — it is massive with live music, games, and food. Do not miss it.
