The venue has been reimagined and reopened as Palm Tree Beach Club, a Tao Group × Kygo Palm Tree Crew partnership operating on the same 60,000 sq ft footprint.

Wet Republic Ultra Pool at MGM Grand ran for over 14 seasons as one of Las Vegas's most legendary dayclubs before closing after the 2024 season. The 50,000-square-foot venue helped define the archetype of the Las Vegas ultra pool concept — among the first venues to bring full festival-grade production to a daytime outdoor pool environment, establishing a template that every subsequent Vegas dayclub followed. Steve Aoki, Tiësto, and Alesso all held long-running Wet Republic residencies during peak years, and the venue's capacity of approximately 5,000 guests made it one of the largest single-day dayclub events in the world on major headliner dates. The tiered pool deck was designed to maximize sightlines from every section — the main stage sat at the head of the central pool at a raised elevation, allowing clear views from the premium VIP cabana perimeter as well as from general admission sections closer to the water. The VIP cabana tier included private plunge pools as standard inclusions decades before competing venues adopted the feature. As of May 2025, the same 60,000-square-foot footprint at MGM Grand reopened as Palm Tree Beach Club — a Tao Group and Kygo Palm Tree Crew partnership maintaining the same large capacity and production infrastructure under a completely new brand identity.
