Vegas Hotel Guide
Nightlife Near Harrah's Las Vegas
Harrah's Las Vegas is the no-frills center-Strip hotel that quietly delivers some of the best nightlife access on the entire boulevard. There is no on-property nightclub and no dayclub, but Harrah's connects directly to The LINQ Promenade — giving you an outdoor entertainment district as your backyard before the clubs even open. Drai's Nightclub is a 5-minute walk south at the Vanderpump Hotel (formerly The Cromwell), OMNIA is 8 minutes at Caesars Palace, and Tao Nightclub at The Venetian is 8 minutes north.
The 2026 nightlife landscape around Harrah's is better than it has ever been. Two brand-new venues opened within walking distance: OMNIA Dayclub launched May 15, 2026 at Caesars Palace — just 8 minutes south — bringing Tiësto, Chris Lake, and Alesso residencies to that corridor. And Soleia, a 65,000 sq ft rooftop dayclub at the Vanderpump Hotel, opens May 26, 2026 just 5 minutes from Harrah's front door. That is three dayclubs and three nightclubs all within a 12-minute walk of your hotel room.
Harrah's is not trying to be glamorous. Rooms are clean, the casino floor has a casual energy, and the resort fee is $37/night — among the lowest on the Strip. For groups that view their hotel room as a place to sleep and shower between clubs, Harrah's is the smartest budget pick with a center-Strip address. You are paying for location, and you are getting it.
The Hotel: Harrah's Las Vegas
Harrah's Las Vegas is a Caesars Entertainment property positioned directly in the geographic center of the Strip — north of Bally's and Paris, south of The Venetian and Palazzo, and one block north of Caesars Palace. It is not a luxury resort. It is a casino-first property where the focus is the gaming floor, the dining options, and the location.
Room rates run $40–$80 per night on weekdays and $100–$150 on weekend nights. The resort fee is $37/night plus tax, matching The LINQ and Flamingo as the lowest resort fees on the center Strip. Wi-Fi, fitness center access, and pool access are included. The pool is a reasonable warm-weather option, but Harrah's guests who want a real dayclub experience will walk 5 or 8 minutes to one of the three nearby dayclubs.
Who is Harrah's for? Groups of four or more who want to spend money on nightlife, not on a hotel room. Convention attendees who need a central location on a company budget. First-time Vegas visitors who want maximum access without paying Bellagio or Wynn prices. Couples who plan to be out until 4 AM and do not need a suite. The hotel serves all of these groups well precisely because it does not try to be everything — it is an affordable base camp with an exceptional location.
Harrah's also benefits from Caesars Rewards integration. If you have status through Planet Hollywood, Paris, Caesars Palace, Bally's, or Horseshoe, that status carries to Harrah's and can unlock room upgrades, food credits, and priority lines at partner venues.
No Nightclub — Three Clubs in Three Directions
Harrah's sits at the intersection of three nightlife corridors, which is actually a competitive advantage over hotel-anchored clubs. When you stay at a hotel with an on-property club — say Caesars with OMNIA — you tend to default to the most convenient option every night. When you stay at Harrah's, you pick the best club based on who is performing, not which club is closest.
Walk south across Las Vegas Boulevard and you reach Drai's at the Vanderpump Hotel (5 minutes) and OMNIA at Caesars Palace (8 minutes). Walk north and you hit Tao Nightclub and Tao Beach at The Venetian (8 minutes). Walk further south and Marquee at The Cosmopolitan and Chateau Nightclub at Paris Las Vegas are 10–12 minutes away. LIV at Fontainebleau is approximately 20 minutes north — closer to an Uber ride than a walk.
This three-directional access is the core value proposition of staying at Harrah's. You are not locked into one venue ecosystem. Hip-hop headliner at Drai's on Wednesday, electronic at OMNIA on Friday, and Tao on Saturday — all from the same hotel room, all walkable.
5-Minute Walk: Drai's Nightclub at the Vanderpump Hotel
Drai's Nightclub is the closest major club to Harrah's and the most logical default for hip-hop nights. The club is now in the basement of the Vanderpump Hotel — the property formerly known as The Cromwell, which was rebranded in May 2026 when Lisa Vanderpump's hospitality group took over management. Drai's itself returned to the basement of this building in November 2025 after a stint at Drai's After Hours configuration. The nightclub operates Wednesday through Sunday from 10:30 PM to 4 AM.
Drai's is a 30,000 sq ft three-room concept built for hip-hop. The main room has a low ceiling that creates an intense, close-quarters energy that larger clubs cannot replicate. Resident DJs and live performers rotate throughout the week, with the biggest acts coming in on Friday and Saturday nights. Wednesday is Drai's long-running hip-hop night that consistently draws strong crowds even mid-week.
From Harrah's front entrance: cross Las Vegas Boulevard using the pedestrian crossing or the north pedestrian bridge, then walk south along the east side of the Strip. Pass Bally's (now Horseshoe Las Vegas) and continue south. The Vanderpump Hotel is on the corner of Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard. The basement entrance for Drai's is on the north side of the building. Total walking time: 5 minutes at a normal pace.
Drai's is on our free guest list Wednesday through Sunday. Drai's After Hours operates from 1 AM to 7 AM at the same building, so a night that starts at OMNIA or Tao can extend into after-hours at Drai's without needing a ride.
8-Minute Walk: OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace
OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace is the dominant electronic and house music venue in Las Vegas. At 75,000 sq ft across three distinct spaces — the main room, the rooftop terrace, and the intimate Heart of OMNIA — it is one of the largest nightclubs in the world. The kinetic chandelier in the main room is an engineering piece that responds to the music in real time. Hakkasan Group brings in A-list electronic talent including Calvin Harris, Kygo, Alesso, and Zedd for multi-night residencies.
OMNIA operates Tuesday and Thursday through Sunday, making it one of the few venues with a Tuesday night option worth attending. The rooftop terrace has views of the Strip from the 6th floor of Caesars and is one of the best outdoor nightclub settings in Las Vegas.
From Harrah's: cross Las Vegas Boulevard using the pedestrian bridge south of the LINQ Promenade entrance, then walk south. Enter Caesars Palace from the Las Vegas Boulevard entrance (the Forum Shops side) and follow signage to OMNIA. The nightclub entrance is inside the casino. Total walking time: 8 minutes.
OMNIA is on our free guest list Tuesday and Thursday through Sunday. This is the go-to for any electronic music weekend, and the proximity to Harrah's means you can return to your room and be back at the club in under 20 minutes if needed.
NEW May 2026: OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars Palace
The OMNIA Dayclub opened May 15, 2026 — the same weekend as EDC Las Vegas — and represents the most significant new dayclub addition to the center Strip in years. Tao Group operates the 46,000 sq ft venue at Caesars Palace, connected to OMNIA Nightclub via an internal bridge that creates a combined 121,000 sq ft entertainment complex.
Resident DJs include Tiësto, Chris Lake, Alesso, Steve Aoki, Afrojack, and Martin Garrix. The opening weekend featured Fisher on May 15, Rüfüs du Sol on May 16, and Martin Garrix on May 17 — three consecutive headline acts aligned with the EDC calendar. This sets the tone for what OMNIA Dayclub intends to be: the premium electronic dayclub destination in Las Vegas.
For Harrah's guests, the walking path is identical to OMNIA Nightclub — 8 minutes south via Las Vegas Boulevard. The dayclub operates Thursday through Sunday during pool season. This gives the Harrah's corridor a genuine electronic dayclub option to complement Tao Beach (more on that below), and positions center-Strip guests with two strong dayclub choices heading south before you even account for Soleia at 5 minutes.
8-Minute Walk: Tao Nightclub at The Venetian
Tao Nightclub at The Venetian is the north anchor of Harrah's nightlife triangle. Tao is a smaller, more intimate club than OMNIA or Hakkasan — around 10,000 sq ft — which gives it a different energy. The crowd density is higher, the ceiling is lower in the main room, and the experience feels more like a premium nightclub than a mega-venue. Tao runs hip-hop and mixed format programming Thursday through Saturday, with select Wednesday and Sunday nights depending on the booking calendar.
From Harrah's: walk north along Las Vegas Boulevard. Use the pedestrian bridge that crosses Las Vegas Boulevard near the Fashion Show Mall. Enter The Venetian complex and follow signage through the casino to the Tao Group entertainment area. Tao Nightclub, Tao Beach, and TAO Restaurant are all co-located in the same section of The Venetian. Total walking time: 8 minutes.
The Tao corridor is ideal for earlier nights — Tao opens before OMNIA and Drai's reach full energy, making it a natural first stop on a two-club night. Start at Tao from 11 PM to 1 AM, then Uber or walk south to Drai's for the 1–3 AM late set. Tao is on our free guest list Thursday through Saturday.
LINQ Promenade: Your Extended Backyard
The LINQ Promenade is the open-air entertainment district that runs between Harrah's and The LINQ Hotel, and Harrah's has a direct interior connection — no street crossing, no weather exposure. Walk out the back of the hotel and you are inside the Promenade. This is one of the most underrated advantages of staying at Harrah's.
The Promenade functions as a three-phase experience for nightlife guests:
Pre-dinner (6–8 PM): Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips for a quick pre-night meal. The quality-to-price ratio is excellent by Strip standards. Yard House for craft beer selection and bar food. These are reliable, affordable options that get dinner done without a reservation or a taxi.
Pre-game (8–10:30 PM): The Promenade's cocktail bars fill up with groups doing the same thing you are — loosening up before the clubs open. The atmosphere is casual and social without dress code pressure. Brooklyn Bowl is an excellent early-evening option: bowling plus live music in a venue that skews older-millennial and doesn't require any nightlife dress code compliance.
Late night snack (2–4 AM): In-N-Out Burger at The LINQ Promenade is open late and is by far the cheapest food on the Strip at any hour. After clubs close, the walk back to Harrah's includes a natural In-N-Out stop that most guests make instinctively.
The High Roller Observation Wheel at the east end of the Promenade is worth noting for early evenings or daytime. At 550 feet, it is the tallest observation wheel in North America. The 30-minute rotation includes bar pods where you can have a drink with panoramic views. It is a solid pre-dinner activity that sets a festive tone for the rest of the night.
Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill is inside Harrah's proper — a country-themed bar with live music that works well as a 9–10:30 PM warm-up if you want to stay on the property before heading out. It is casual, loud, and social without requiring nightlife attire.
Pool Parties and Dayclubs Within Walking Distance
The 2026 dayclub landscape around Harrah's is the strongest it has ever been. Three distinct dayclubs are now within a 12-minute walk.
Tao Beach at The Venetian — 8 minutes north. Tao Beach is the north corridor dayclub, operating Thursday through Sunday. The Asian-inspired design sets it apart visually — dark wood, sculpted stone, covered cabanas with sightlines across the pool deck. Tao Beach attracts a fashion-forward crowd and consistently books high-profile DJs through Tao Group's residency program. Guest list gets you in free on Thursdays and Fridays.
Soleia at The Vanderpump Hotel — 5 minutes south. Soleia opens May 26, 2026 on the rooftop of the Vanderpump Hotel (formerly The Cromwell), replacing Drai's Beachclub on the same rooftop footprint but expanding it significantly to 65,000 sq ft. Lisa Vanderpump's aesthetic takes over a space that already had strong Strip views — the result is one of the most visually distinct pool venues in Las Vegas. At 5 minutes from Harrah's, this is the closest major dayclub to the hotel, and its opening makes the south corridor even more compelling for weekend daytime plans.
OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars Palace — 8 minutes south. As detailed above, the newest dayclub on the Strip opened May 15, 2026. Tiësto, Chris Lake, and Alesso residencies make this the electronic-leaning dayclub option, while Soleia skews more lifestyle and eclectic. The two work well as different days of the same weekend.
Marquee Dayclub at Cosmopolitan — 12 minutes south. Marquee's rooftop dayclub has Strip-facing views and a reliable Friday–Sunday operation. The commute from Harrah's is longer but still walkable. Marquee dayclub is the best option if you want Strip views from the pool rather than off-Strip panoramas.
Night-of-Week Planner
| Night | Best Option | Distance | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wednesday | Drai's Nightclub | 5 min south | Hip-hop, strong mid-week crowd |
| Thursday | Tao Nightclub | 8 min north | Opens early, hip-hop/mixed |
| Friday | OMNIA or Drai's | 8 or 5 min | Electronic (OMNIA) vs hip-hop (Drai's) |
| Saturday | Split: Tao then Drai's | 8 min + 5 min | Two-club night, north then south |
| Sunday | OMNIA | 8 min south | Sunday nights at Caesars are strong |
The Harrah's Nightlife Playbook
Three tested scenarios for guests staying at Harrah's:
Scenario 1: North Then South (the classic two-club night)
| Time | Venue | Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 7–9 PM | LINQ Promenade dining (Yard House or Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips) | Interior walkway |
| 9–10:30 PM | Promenade cocktail bars or Brooklyn Bowl | Connected |
| 10:30 PM–1 AM | Tao Nightclub at The Venetian | 8 min north |
| 1–4 AM | Drai's Nightclub at Vanderpump Hotel | 5 min south |
This pattern works because Tao opens before Drai's reaches peak energy, and Drai's late-set headliners typically hit 1–3 AM. Total walking time for the entire night: under 15 minutes combined.
Scenario 2: All-South Electronic Night
| Time | Venue | Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 7–9 PM | Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars or Nobu | 8 min south |
| 9–10 PM | Walk back via LINQ Promenade for a drink | Connected |
| 10 PM–1 AM | OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace | 8 min south |
| 1–7 AM | Drai's After Hours | 5 min south |
This scenario works for electronic music weekends — OMNIA for the main set, Drai's After Hours to extend the night. Both are south of Harrah's, so you are walking in one direction all night.
Scenario 3: Dayclub-to-Nightclub Saturday
| Time | Venue | Distance |
|---|---|---|
| 12–4 PM | Soleia at Vanderpump Hotel | 5 min south |
| 4–7 PM | Return to Harrah's, rest, pre-game in room | Back at hotel |
| 7–9 PM | Toby Keith's at Harrah's or LINQ Promenade | On property |
| 10 PM–2 AM | Drai's Nightclub | 5 min south |
Soleia and Drai's are in the same building (Vanderpump Hotel), so Saturday becomes an 8-hour experience in one direction. Pool opens at noon, club opens at 10:30 PM, after hours runs until 7 AM. The hotel is a 5-minute walk for recovery between phases.
Strip Clubs: 5-Minute Ride
Sapphire Las Vegas is approximately 5 minutes by rideshare from Harrah's front entrance — the world's largest gentlemen's club at 71,000 sq ft. Sapphire offers free limousine pickup directly from Strip hotels including Harrah's. The limo is free, the cover is waived through our guest list, and the ride runs until 4 AM. Spearmint Rhino is roughly the same distance heading south, open 24 hours. Crazy Horse III is about 7 minutes and is the celebrity-oriented option with extensive VIP configurations.
Strip clubs are a natural extension of the Harrah's nightlife playbook — the club itself is walkable, the after-hours options are walkable, and a strip club run fits cleanly into the 1–4 AM window.
Pre-Game Dining
On-property at Harrah's:
- •Ruth's Chris Steak House is the upscale option for a proper pre-dinner. Reservation recommended on weekends.
- •Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill is the casual option — country-themed, live music, louder than a standard restaurant. Works well as a 9 PM warm-up bar that happens to serve food.
LINQ Promenade (interior connection, no street crossing):
- •Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips is one of the better quick-service options on the Strip for quality versus cost.
- •Yard House covers craft beer pre-gaming with a full food menu.
- •In-N-Out Burger is the cheapest food option on or near the Strip — essential for late-night post-club eating.
- •Several cocktail bars line the Promenade and serve until late.
Walking south to the Caesars corridor (8 minutes):
- •Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace — Lisa Vanderpump's bar concept, cocktail-focused, good for 9–10 PM before OMNIA opens.
- •Nobu at Caesars Palace — Japanese fine dining if the budget allows for a proper pre-night dinner.
Group Planning: Why Harrah's Works for Large Groups
Groups of 8 or more benefit from Harrah's in ways that are not immediately obvious. When a large group is staying at a hotel with an on-property club — say Wynn with XS — the group will be pressured to book bottle service at that club every night because the hotel concierge and nightlife team are integrated. Staying at Harrah's removes that structural pressure. You pick your club based on who is performing, what your budget is for that night, and how the group is feeling.
Drai's, OMNIA, and Tao all have our free guest list available for groups booking through this site. Large group guest lists at these venues require advance registration — submit the form at least 48 hours before you plan to go out. Groups of 10+ typically need to confirm size and arrival window. All three clubs can accommodate large groups on guest list provided you arrive before midnight.
The LINQ Promenade is also excellent for large group pre-games. Unlike hotel pool decks or lobby bars, the Promenade is open-air, spacious, and does not require reservations for groups moving between spots. You can migrate your group from Yard House to a cocktail bar to the High Roller to Brooklyn Bowl in a single evening without coordination overhead.
Center-Strip location means the group is never far from the hotel if someone needs to tap out early. The worst-case walk back to Harrah's from any of these venues is 12 minutes. For groups with mixed energy levels — some people partying until 4 AM, some calling it at 1 AM — Harrah's is genuinely forgiving as a home base.
What to Expect vs. Luxury Strip Hotels
The honest comparison: Harrah's gives you the same nightlife access as Caesars Palace, The Venetian, or Cosmopolitan at roughly 40–60% of the room cost. The tradeoff is everything inside the hotel room — thread count, bathroom finishes, room size, and the overall hotel experience.
If nightlife is the primary purpose of your Las Vegas trip, that tradeoff is clearly in Harrah's favor. If you want a luxury resort experience where the hotel itself is part of the trip, Harrah's is not the right choice. But for groups whose trip is defined by what happens between 10 PM and 4 AM, saving $150–$200 per night in hotel costs frees up significant budget for bottles, covers, and experiences at the clubs themselves.
Harrah's doesn't have a butler, a pool dayclub, or a celebrity chef restaurant. It has Drai's, OMNIA, Tao, Soleia, and the LINQ Promenade — all within walking distance, all open late. That is the value proposition in full.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Harrah's Las Vegas have a nightclub?
Harrah's does not have an on-property nightclub or dayclub, but that is almost beside the point given its location. Center-Strip positioning puts three major nightclubs within an 8-minute walk: Drai's Nightclub at the Vanderpump Hotel (formerly The Cromwell) is 5 minutes south with a hip-hop focus running Wednesday through Sunday. OMNIA at Caesars Palace is 8 minutes south with electronic and house programming Tuesday and Thursday through Sunday. Tao Nightclub at The Venetian is 8 minutes north with hip-hop and mixed format on Thursday through Saturday. You have more club variety from Harrah's than you would from a hotel with a single on-property venue. On top of that, Drai's After Hours runs 1–7 AM at the same Vanderpump Hotel building — a walk-in after-hours option at the end of any night.
Is Harrah's connected to the LINQ Promenade?
Yes, Harrah's connects directly to The LINQ Promenade through an interior walkway — no street crossing, no outdoor exposure. Walk out the back of the hotel and you are inside the Promenade. The open-air entertainment district runs from the Harrah's connection through to The LINQ Hotel and includes Yard House for craft beers and bar food, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips for a quick pre-club meal, In-N-Out Burger for late-night eating (cheapest food on the Strip at any hour), Brooklyn Bowl for bowling plus live music in the early evening, the High Roller Observation Wheel with bar pods for panoramic pre-dinner cocktails, and several cocktail bars. Most Harrah's guests use the Promenade as their primary pre-game zone from about 8 PM until clubs open at 10:30 PM — and again after clubs close for In-N-Out.
How cheap is Harrah's compared to other Strip hotels?
Harrah's is consistently one of the most affordable center-Strip options and the comparison to nearby luxury hotels is significant. Harrah's weekday rooms run $40–$80/night with weekend rates at $100–$150. The resort fee is $37/night — matching The LINQ and Flamingo for the lowest center-Strip resort fee. In contrast, Wynn runs $300–$600/night, Cosmopolitan $250–$500/night, and Caesars Palace $200–$450/night. You are getting the same 5-minute walk to Drai's and the same 8-minute walk to OMNIA regardless of which hotel you stay in. For groups of four saving $150–$200 per night per room, those savings translate directly into bottle service, cover charges, and experiences at the venues themselves. Harrah's is the budget-conscious nightlife traveler's optimal choice.
Can I walk from Harrah's to Tao Nightclub?
Yes. Tao Nightclub at The Venetian is approximately an 8-minute walk north from Harrah's. Walk north on Las Vegas Boulevard, use the pedestrian bridge that crosses Las Vegas Boulevard near the Fashion Show Mall, then enter The Venetian complex and follow signage to the Tao Group entertainment area. Tao Beach dayclub is the same distance in the same building — both operate in The Venetian's entertainment wing. For dayclubs heading south, OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars Palace opened May 15, 2026 and is also 8 minutes from Harrah's going in the opposite direction. This gives Harrah's guests two dayclub corridors within the same walking distance: Tao Beach to the north (Thursday–Sunday) and OMNIA Dayclub to the south (Thursday–Sunday, electronic/house focus with Tiësto and Chris Lake residencies).
What is the closest pool party to Harrah's?
Three dayclubs are within a 10-minute walk of Harrah's as of summer 2026. The closest is Soleia at the Vanderpump Hotel (formerly The Cromwell), which opens May 26, 2026 as a 65,000 sq ft rooftop dayclub replacing Drai's Beachclub on the same rooftop — 5 minutes south of Harrah's. Next is Tao Beach at The Venetian (8 minutes north, Thursday–Sunday) and OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars Palace (8 minutes south, opened May 15, 2026, Thursday–Sunday). Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan is 12 minutes south. With Soleia and OMNIA Dayclub both opening in May 2026, the center Strip dayclub density around Harrah's is the best it has been. All three are on our free guest list for qualifying groups.
